We are going to be at disney in december, we want to visit Universal Studios, but the kids want to see Harry Potter in the other park..We are not much for the big rollar coaster rides but want to see Harry..Would you go for two days, or just buy the one ticket where you can go to the other park..Would we be able to see all in one day?

It depends on when you're visiting. If it's around the holidays you won't be able to do much because of the crowds. Early December is no problem since the parks are still slow. Since the two park ticket isn't a whole lot more than the one park, you should do both parks but again...it depends on when you're visiting.

Tickets will be expensive since there is no discounting on single day admissions.

Dec 17 and 18th...
Crowds should be moderate that week so doing the highlights of both parks is possible but not recommended...especially on your first visit. Since you've never been, make sure you check out the website and see what interests your family and then check YouTube for ride videos.

Thanks will probably do two days but on the second day just staying about a half day..

A dependable crowd calendar predicts overall a 7 (out of 10) crowds on the 17th and an 8 on the 18th. Also, USF predicted "good" on the 17th, but "avoid" on the 18th. Whereas IOA shows both days as in-between status. Hope that helps with decision making.

:thumbsup2

1 day 2 parks were doable until Harry Potter moved into IOA, but even then it was only to catch the biggies in each park. Now days I go with the 2 Day ticket for a 2 day visit even for crowd level 3.
Have fun,
