I have two AKV contracts, one 50 points (Dec UY) and one 110 points (Mar UY). Is there any reason not to just transfer the 50 points into the 110 point membership every year to make my life easier? I assume this would give me 160 points with the ability to book online at AKV 11 months out and anywhere else 7 months out.
I know the alternative is to book the nights separately and have MS combine, but then I lose some time advantage (i.e. book the first 5 nights with one contract, then have to wait 5 days for the window to open up to book the last 2 nights with the other contract... instead of just booking all 7 nights at once).
One "downside" is it would use my one transfer per year (though it seems MS can be lenient) but that doesn't bother me because I don't envision transferring in/out with anyone else anyways.
