Two Campers on one site?

Thanks everyone. I don't want to break the rules. I remember seeing photos somewhere a while back with the two on one site. We will be 12 to 14 with a 5th wheel, 24' TT and a pop up, maybe. So I guess I will get three sites. What are my chances of getting them together?

If you have that many people you should do it via a Grand Gathering. It is a separate Disney group that caters to bigger groups. I used it before. Using them is your best bet of getting 2-3 sites together. They also try to sell you stuff of course but they can also make a large group dining ressie if you all want to eat somewhere together.

If memory serves they can bill separately too so you don't have to pay for all 3 sites. I was at the Fort and others were over at POP and I didn't pay for them. There was just a common group number.

Thank you, I'll check into it. I will most likly pay for the 3 sites so that won't be a problem.

Just checked and they are ending the Grand Gatherings as of 1/12.

Well now, that is news.
I hadn't heard anything about the demise of the Grand Gathering.

I'm told there's a site in the 600 loop with a Class C and a Class B on it right now.

Rules, schmools.

Tim,

I called the Fort about this very point last week and the rule is still one trailer per site with one additional tent.

Class B's are those van-style campers right? They can park like a regular vehicle and other than a higher roofline or the fridge coil grill it is hard to pick them out.

I'm still going to follow the rules. It's who I am.

I try not to break the rules too. I even pay my mortgage on time.

This one seems a bit much.

we saw the same thing in June - see my trip report and post #8 with photos.....

Yea, I went to that link and I have 2 observations -

1. There are always those that will break the rules because they think they don't apply to them.

2. You can't believe everything that is posted on public forums. There are some posters who like to exaggerate everything (i.e., their discriptions of their own setup) inorder to try to "one up" someone else.

I think the rules are pretty clear about having one RV (MH, 5er, TT, popup) per site and if you try to put two on the site, you run the risk of Disney knocking on your door. Not worth the worry, IMO. I, like most posters, believe in following the rules, there's a reason behind every rule.
