would you do a breakfast buffet and then a dinner buffet in the same day? Or just pick one?

For example, Tusker house ppo breakfast then Biergarten 7pm dinner. or any other combo.

I'm just curious to see what others do.

We wouldn't generally do two buffets in a day, but it's seems completely reasonable to do a late breakfast buffet and a late dinner buffet in the same day.

I have planned to do a Tusker House brunch, and a late Ohana dinner. We will just snack in the afternoon if hungry.

Breakfast and dinner? Why not?

I would not schedule the two meals back to back, becasue I tend to eat too much at a buffet, and am not at all hungry for HOURS!

We have done breakfast and dinner buffets before in the same day. There is nothing wrong with it. I wouldn't do a late breakfast and early dinner buffet or 2 meals with similar characters, but if you can space it out, the way you have in your example, with the restaurants you mentioned, it sounds like a perfectly good plan to me.

Because buffets can be time-consuming, especially if it is a character meal, I usually just plan one per day.

We did TH breakfast and Boma dinner - it was a lot of food but we only had a snack mid day

I've done a late breakfast at Ohana and an evening meal at 1900 park fare, with a BOG cupcake in between. I went in knowing that I was paying for the characters just as much as the food and was able to enjoy having both meals in one day.

Even 2TS in one day is a bit much for me just for the time it takes out of our day. That said if you were doing one in the morning and one for dinner it probably won't be that big of a deal. Biergarten in particular we always leave far more stuffed than any other restaurant on Disney property so that might be a bit much for me after a buffet breakfast as well, but everyone is different.

yes....we have done a breakfast and then a dinner buffet in the same day.

We are doing it twice on our upcoming trip (actually pairing up a family style with a buffet, but pretty much the same):

7:45 am 'Ohana with a 6:30 pm Biergarten
8:00 am Tusker House with a 7:00 pm 'Ohana

We will likely just do a snack between meals or possibly split a couple of QS lunches between the 5 of us.

Of course, the 7:00 pm 'Ohana was booked back when AK was scheduled to close at 5:00 pm, so the extended hours has thrown a bit of a wrench in our plans. Trying to decide what to do with that one.

I would possible do a breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet as long as they are well spread out and that the dinner buffet consisted of either Boma or Biergarten; any other dinner buffet is rather um... Golden Corral like.

We would. We don't find non-character buffets to be time consuming at all, like a PP mentioned. In fact, it's faster for us because you don't have to wait for your food.

Buffets are usually quicker than TS where you order from a menu, so I don't see why not. Afterall, you have to eat somewhere!

Of course, it's not uncommon for us to do 3 TS in one day, and I really don't even think about whether there are multiple buffets in our plan. We eat about the same regardless. If anything, I eat less at buffets because I am in control of how much food I put on my plate.

I don't see a problem at all, if it's breakfast and dinner. Lots of time in between to get hungry again. If you do get hungry, a light lunch or snack could probably hold you over.

Now? Yes. When my kids were too young to go to the buffet themselves? No. Too much work. I also wouldn't if I had someone with food allergies in the group. It can REALLY delay things to wait for the chef to come out and show you what is safe and what isn't. We waited 15 minutes recently, and it was tough on the kids with allergies to sit there while everyone around them was going to get their food. I'm not complaining about the wait - the personalized service is worth it! I just wouldn't do it twice in one day.

If I could get away with it! :)

my wife is a stickler for planning and evening these things out.. 2 buffets in one day would not sit well with her.. :(
