We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at AKL last November. It was beautiful. I believe it was $1100/night before taxes. Mom treated. Thanks, Mom!!!
There was more than enough room for the 6 of us. My mom and stepdad had a bdrm with a king bed. DH, DD, DS, and I had a room with a queen and a bunk bed. There was a parlor area with a fold out bed. There were 2 1/2 baths.
Janet2K has some great pictures from her stays in AKL suites. She's been in both a 1 bdrm and 2bdrm. I tried to find a link to her pics but the search function is currently disabled.
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
Jdwright13, I have stayed in several suites and villas at WDW (GF, YC, AKL, BWV, OKW). For general pricing info, please check out the official www.disneyworld.com website. All 2003 room pricing is listed. Please note that suites are never discounted, so what you see is what you'll pay (don't forget to add in the tax). There have been discounts offered on *some* of the DVC properties for their villas (their version of a suite) within the past year or so, so you might be able to get a discount on one of those rooms. If you have more specific questions, please feel free to post them or to PM me.
Also, check out the DVC Rent/Trade board...you can rent points from a DVC owner for 2 bedroom villas (that sleep up to 8) in some cases for about 1/2 of what the going rack rate is. We rented points for a 2 bedroom at BCV that ran us $1248 for 5 days.
