We booked FW Cabins and I didn't think about there only being one bathroom. I was thinking of changing to a room with two as there are four of us and showers at night would take forever. My understanding is that AoA has the family suites that sleep six and that they have two bathrooms. Is that correct? Its hard to tell from the online pics on the website. Does anyone know of any others that are in the moderate to value price range that offer two bathrooms. The FW Cabins are $309 a night. For $318, we can get a suite and two bathrooms at AoA. A fifth family member may join us as well.

Other than AOA suites, I believe ASMu Family Suites have 2 bathrooms. I'm not very familiar with DVC, but I think I've read that some of the 1BR villas at Animal Kingdom Lodge (or maybe the ones at Kidani?) also have 2 bathrooms.

The Family Suites at ASMu and AoA have 2 bathrooms, and a kitchenette, but a lot of people find the pull out sofa bed uncomfortable. The only moderate with suites is CSR, which has a junior suite with 2 bathrooms, but no kitchenette, and are pricey. Some people choose instead to request two connecting/adjoining rooms and then have two bathrooms and 4 beds, usually at same price or less than the suite.

The suites at AoA only have one real bed. The two other sleeping choices are less than comfortable. Instead, get two separate rooms. You'll have two full bathrooms and four real beds.

We have had connecting rooms at Pop. It is so nice to have 4 beds, two baths, two TVs. It really does help the showers move along quickly.

Because you are at Ft. Wilderness, wouldn't you do have the option of using the camp showers, aka Comfort Stations? I understand that needing to leave your cabin just to take showers is a downside, but when staying in an RV my family would do just that. As far as campgrounds go, Ft. Wilderness has just about the nicest showers (as well as the "nicest" anything for a campground).

The comfort stations are spread around at the entrance to each campsite loop. Since the cabins are spread throughout these loops, I'm sure it won't be a long walk.

You might also consider some of the DVC units, either booking through Disney or renting points. I know the studio rooms at the Polynesian are great and all have two showers.

So - it also depends on the composition of your group as to what I would recommend. I think kids (let's say 12 and under) are just fine on the table bed and pull-out sofa bed in the AoA suites. I think the table bed is better than the queen in the bedroom - even as an adult. The sofa bed - I think is okay for a night for an adult - but I wouldn't put a bed picky person on it for more than a couple of nights.

So - if its two adults and two kids under 14 - I'd go AoA.

If it's two adults and two older teens - say 15-17 - if either of them are picky about the bed they are on - then move to two connecting value rooms for the second bathroom.

Now - if there's a fifth PERSON - maybe two rooms again - because that does move you to 4 sleeping surfaces.

We love the AoA suites - and we find the arrangement works better for us than two rooms. It's been three of us on two trips now - one adult in the bedroom, one adult on the table bed, one kid on the sofa bed. The kid thinks sofa beds are awesome - and as far as sofa beds go - it's a pretty good one.

Two moderate rooms just moves you up in price - and DVC 1 bedrooms at AKV/BLT give you two baths - but those are one bed, one sofa bed, one single chair converts to bed - and a ton more money.

Just keep in mind that if you choose the two rooms option that Disney does not guarantee connecting rooms on any reservation. You can make the request but it is a risk. When I have stayed on group reservations, our requests for connecting rooms has always been granted. But I have heard it is more of a gamble for individual reservations.

We are considering doing two rooms at POFQ or POR and requesting connecting for next SB. I want to stay at VWL but it is proving too expensive and two rooms at a moderate would be cheaper than a one bedroom. Plus my kids hate the sofa bed. Wish we could splurge on a two bedroom villa but with college expenses right around the corner for my daughter...it is so hard to justify.
