Two Adults DREAM BIG! A Feb TR! - 3/17 NEW x3 AND REMY'S!!!

Hi! Great TR so far! DH and I will be on the May 6 Dream cruise. We are currently scheduled to take the DCL transfers (we are staying 1 night at SSR), but I just got an amazing deal on budget with a discount code, so now I want to drive! I wanted to ask you....are the tolls ALL automatic from WDW to PC??? I have been reading conflicting reports that there are manned, cash tolls, but also I am reading that all of the tolls are now electronic, so we would need a transponder. If you (or anyone else!) could answer this for me, that would be great! Looking forward to reading the rest of this report, I am so excited for my trip, I cannot wait!!! :)

We were on the same cruise, February 19, and all the toll stations were manned!
I think it's the route towards Miami that has gone all automated.

Loving your TR. For us Remy was the best part of the Dream! In fact, it is the only thing we will miss about the Dream on our upcoming Magic cruise to Canada.

Hi! Remember me? ;) :flower3:

I don't know how I missed the start of your TR! But I am here now, since we cruised together I cannot wait to read all about YOUR trip! :thumbsup2

You went to Remy on your first night? We went on our second one! :rotfl2: and you are right, it is an ...... "experience".
I am going to book it again for our summer cruises! ;) NO wine pairing this time ... it became a blur after the first few glasses! :rotfl2:

Can't wait for more! popcorn::

HI!!!!!
Of course!!!!!
Glad you came over to join in!! Thanks for organizing the FE btw. That was a fun part of the trip for sure! My kids love kinder bars, so your candy goodies were a big hit when we got back! Of course they didn't know how I got them, :rolleyes1

Re the wine pairing, that is what we were worried about too  I'm planning to book as well for November!:thumbsup2

We were happy to go our first night we felt we wouldn't be as stuffed!

We had palo and brunch as well, so we had to space those all out!

Oh good for you! I def think the car is the way to go. Re the tolls, I don't remember stopping for tolls, pur car had one of those automatic transponders, yes. But I wasn't paying attention! DH was driving, I was on my phone:laughing:.....

Well, there you go!

Hi ya! Oh I agree! But Paulo's on the Wonder? Will be fabulous! The wonder has a cove bar/cafe which is nicer than the one on the dream, btw, so you'll probably really take advantage of that on the Alaska cruise :thumbsup2

Looking forward to reading more. I'm trying to convince my husband we need to dine at either Remy's or Palo.....

:wave2: Hey I finally got over.

What a start to your cruise - pity you didn't get to spend time at AK pool - your time was well spent though.

We have dropped the idea of getting bus to port also - car hire is the way to go for us too.

Wow boarding, guest services and reservations were really smooth :thumbsup2

Remy's - you have just rubber stamped it for me - hopefully we get a booking before boarding if not first port of call will be to secure one :) My only niggle is the kids being at club :confused3

Wow, great trip report, we as a fam did Magic in '05, then it was only 3 of us and the baby (who is 8yo now), was free so it was affordable, NOW not so much, WE DW and I are taking our first vacation in 8 years w/o the boy's , it took a lot of convincing for me..as we usually always take the boys on a "big"vacation , last year Disney World for 10 days and the year before 10 days on a cruise to the Carib...How was it for you and your hubby, did you have any remorse...it does a couple good to enjoy some time alone....

We cruise from NYC-Bermuda in less than 45 days , on RCCL, which we have always had good luck on...how did the kiddo's do w/ out mom and dad??

thanks for the report!!!

Hey HD!

I can't tell you how happy I was to pop over here and see that I didn't have that much to catch up on :lmao:

Mmmmmm, crab nachos from Blue Zoo. I still have that picture of them on my phone and I run across it once in awhile and I remember our great meal there (and the great drinks, lol!)

I'm so glad you enjoyed Remy! So far, outside of sitting in a lounge by the pool, everything you have done we didn't do on our cruise, which just really reinforces in me the need to go again!
