Two ADRs for one room...

We will be a party of 8 (my fam plus sister and parents) staying in a two-bedroom at SSR. Will I be able to make two ADR for the same time if we wish to split up?

We have a big party alsso and are not always wanting to go to same place or sit together. I had to call to make those resevations, the system would not allow me to do any reservcations around the same times. Although it did once, but I got lucky I guess.

You can as long as you are not doing it in the 10+ window(meaning 180 days +10). That is the only time your reservation has to be tied to your room reservation. If you are not in the 10+ window just make one reservation in one adults name and the other in another adults name.
