LOL... I searched like a good girl and found a Twitter thread, happily replied to it, then realized it was in some "podcast" forum I have never heard of or been to in 10 years here... So I'm making my own thread.

I think Twitter is very useful in terms of deseminating practical info at times when major community events are happening (such as elections, tornadoes, major traffic issues, etc.), as a source of on-the-spot news and information, but for everyday I don't find it has much value for me.

I would be interested to know what value you find that it has in the everyday course of things; why do you like it so much?
