Twister hit Orlando This Morning

Just saw on the news that a twister touched down in Orlando early this morning. Some local damage.

I was watching the TV when the news of the tornados hit.....so sad and soooo much devastation! They say that 2 people were killed but I think by the looks of the damage that they will find more........

This very day last year we were on the plane flying down and then the following day Feb 3rd we were under a tornado warning too and the sky was such a weird colour but all we got were very strong winds and lots of thunder and lightening.I hope that everything is ok now and that there is help on the way for these people. I experienced an F-2 about 8 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday!

Holy guacomole! I was just reading the news and it said 10 people across Florida have been killed. That is so sad

In 98 on our honeymoon in Feb there was a tornado that went from Kissimee to Daytona my wife had it wake her up in the middle of the night I didn't hear a thing.

My parents are in a villa in Sunset Ridge right now and I called them - they are ok and my DM says the major damage is about 40 miles north of them. Scary!

My parents are in Wildwood, about 3 miles from the damage. They are fine as well. Scary!!!

I was there when it hit.Just got back last night. Nothing at WDW was damaged. Missed us by 30 miles. 20 people dead, hundreds were missing.

Imagine my shock when I got out of bed the first morning of my WDW vacation and turn on the TV to get the weather for the day and I see that a tornado has hit central Florida---I'M IN CENTRAL FLORIDA!!!!

That would be quite the wake up call!
