We are planning a trip to disney and our 5 year old is not able to walk stairs, stand or walk for long periods, and must wear a leg brace at all times due to a congenital defect of his tibia. We were going to bring an umbrella stroller for him. We also have 18month old twins(with a double stroller). It will only be my husband and myself. I am wondering if the strollers will be allowed in line the whole time, if we obtain a GAC. I am not sure how we would use the childpass system for the rides the twins can't ride. They would have to be in their stroller- 1 person cannot hold both at the same time, while the other adult rides with the 5 year old. Will they allow this??? I could also put the 5 year old in the stroller with one twin and hold the other if this would help out in lines. Any suggestions. Is this even doable???

Only time for a quick response -
follow thelink in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread and check out post #6 about Guest Assistsnce Cards. You would be able to get a GAC or a sticker that allows you to use a stroller as a wheelchair for either the single or double stroller. Given your circumstances and that your twins are so young, they might allow you to use both strollers as wheelchairs.

Using a stroller as a wheelchair would allow you to bring the stroller in lines and use it the same as a wheelchair. For most attractions, the regular line is accessible or mostly accessible. The GAC would allow you to bypass the non-accessible part of the line or boarding/exit.

I think I would do it this way. I would still bring the strollers like you are planning except I would get a stroller as wheelchair sticker from Guest services and put it on the double stroller. This now allows you to keep 2 of the kids in the stroller while in lines. Which ever twin that is not in the stroller I would put in a hip carrier. This should make it a little easier for all. For the rides that the twins can't ride I would put the twins in the carrier and the umbrella stroller with the parent who is not riding.

If you use the buses, you might find the carrier of great use there too. We would put our twins in carriers on the buses, because it freed up our hands to carry the other things and it kept the babies strapped to us. It just felt safer having them attached to us, rather than little missles or escape artists.

You won't be able to leave any of the kids in the strollers when on the buses, but you can use the lift to bring the older child onto the bus. Just let them ride up on the lift in the stroller and then place them in a seat and fold up the stroller.

Just a suggestion, that we found worked for us.
