Hello everyone! I have been secretly reading, and drooling, on this thread for a while now and thought I should just say "hi" and join the fun.

I have shared some of the pics, and links (Taylor Lautner oy!) I found here with friends at work. There are 3 of us girls that have a Twilight discussion at least once a day. In fact last week we walked over to the mall and bought some Twilight gear that Hot Topics had on sale. The other 2 girls bought a poster and hung it up in our office area. All I have to do to see Edward is roll my chair back about 2 feet and look out the opening of my cubicle and there he is. I think I look at it about 10 times (okay maybe a million ) a day. No obsession here, no sir, not one tiny bit.

I just want to say keep the pics and links coming, DH just doesn't understand my fascination with Rob Pattinson but I think you all do.

Welcome to the thread. I don't post much, but I love looking at all the pictures of Rob that are posted! My DH doesn't understand either....he keeps asking me why I have a teenager on my screensaver....I stick up for Rob though and keep telling my DH he is 23! I mean come on.....I am only 13years older than him

I'm sorry, but I have to defend on this point, because if I was in her position I would do the same. Might I add that this was in Italy and a Pap go on the roof to get that pic. Celebrity may bring many things, but paparazzi stalking you at your house is not something anyone asks for.

I have to refute that point. I am sorry but she could take a page out of Britney's book where they would do anything to get a picture of her. She should know what the job entails, and being in another country demands more respect, than just being at home.

I have to say that I find the picture amusing. One can only take so much. Its so annoying to hear that she has to be a role model for all the young girls that watch twilight blah blah blah. She shouldn't have to be anything other than herself when shes not in character. If anything I feel badly for her that they made her so irritated.

I didn't realize that when you become a celebrity you are suppose to put up with people hiding in trees, on top of roofs and chasing you down in a car. The paparazzi are crazy and dangerous most of the time. I understand that if a celebrity goes to a public place like a restaurant then they should expect to be photographed. However to be stalked and chased down is crazy! To be shooting a film on a set and then have them sneaking around on roofs to get your picture is unacceptable. You know there are some people who become an actor because they love acting, not because they just want fame. I think Kristen just wants to act because she loves it. She loves her fans but I think she is totally justified to give the paparazzi the finger in that situation. How many times have we seen celebrities get into car accidents because they are being chased by paparazzi, and look what happened to Princess Diana! How about Reese Witherspoon who was in a really dangerous situation with the paparazzi while she was with her kids! Celebrities should not have to put up with it just because they are famous! I don't think they "asked for it", that is just crazy.
OK, sorry just my 2 cents!

I also want to add that I love all the Rob pictures that were posted! Love his smile!!

I apologize for not having a link but you might be better off not seeing it anyway. I just watched the worst interview yesterday with Jackson Rathbone. He's been in my area shooting The Last Airbender and a local tv station did an interview with him and then let his band play afterwards. The channel is wfmz so you might be able to see it on their website. Anyway, the interview was annoying because I swear he didn't answer a single question-he would just crack a joke and then the interviewer would move on. I could see not answering them if they were annoying but they didn't seem that intrusive. He was very charming and gracious-I will give him that. Then the band started playing and they were bad. The music was okay but the vocalist was doing some weird effect with his voice like he was trying to sing raspy. It was very odd. Even my teens were shocked so I don't think it's just that I'm too old to "get" all this.

So, anyone else going to Summer School in Forks in just two weeks? DD and I are getting excited (and nervous!) I was hoping for some advice on what I should wear. Its a symposium with teachers, librarians, ect., but I am sure mostly fans like me- so I am not sure whether I should pack casual (jeans and t-shirts) or more business casual.

We'll also be going to the convention in Atlanta two seeks later (anyone else?) I hope to have a bunch of great pics to post when we get back.
