ARGH small OT vent. The dang events intern at the zoo set up our zoo as a person named Zoo Montana on facebook instead of an entity that is ZooMontana.

By the way, I had dinner with my sister, nephew, brother and his fiancee tonight. I mentioned that I was reading this thread and that we were talking about naked Jacob/shirtless Edward last night and now they all think I'm a freak. Sigh...I told them it really isn't as weird as it sounds, it's on a Disney board.

Good thing I never mentioned the manipals or blue bananas...

I told my DBF about the BBG because he wondered wth I was talking about on Facebook and the look on his face when I told him was probably the same look he would have given me if I had told him I was actually a man. He didn't understand it and didn't find it nearly as amusing as we all do.

I love Barnes and Noble, there's a Starbucks in there!

What is this Borders that some of you speak of?

I love paraphernalia's stuff. I had the red heart necklace, but lost it somewhere when I moved. I love the one you have, it's super cute. I've had my eye on a few other pieces from there, but I can't afford to own 20 different necklaces or brooches.

I really really want a ring that looks like the one Bella wears in the movie...I just hate buying rings without trying them on, ya know? What if it looks awful on my finger? Yes, weddings out there are gorgeous, we're scheduled Friday and Saturdays all throughout the summer already. They keep trying to talk me into doing the wedding photography and I'm like umm, uptight brides, pressure, no thanks.

This is a follow up to the conversation I had with the events director last week where she goes, did you know we could be on facebook, and have fans, and send them messages!! Life is painful working with the untechnical. The head keeper calls usb cables hoses. And I once saw him write in a black sharpie on top of a pc that the mouse doesn't work.

Oh, zoo people are hilarious, much more laid back than my real job. I have stories upon stories about them and I've only been volunteering there 5 years. Plus a lot of times at meetings something will happen like a keeper will pull a baby duck out of her pocket and let it walk on the table. That never happens at my real job - software people are much more uptight.

No not really...I'm a big chicken when it comes to controversy..I'd back out slowly!! You were very polite....to the 14 year old...that's difficult! My niece is 12, I know! My mom is 64, she loves the books. She's fighting with my 24 year old friend over gets to read my borrowed copies.

If my mom starts saying Rob's hot, I don't know if I'll be able to handle that though...

It was a little difficult! I almost posted "You have much to learn young grasshopper" but I figured; A. They wouldn't get the joke or B. They'd get snippy thinking I was being rude. So I chose the nicer route. I figure, Hey it's my opinion and I have a right to post it just like they did.
