It's so HOT! Like WAY hotter than it is back home. My sister actually got heatstroke today at AK and got all dizzy, so we're back at the hotel.

Wow! I hope she's ok.

It's sooooooooo hot in FL. I went to the beach on Saturday and got a wicked sunburn, like 2nd degree burns and we were only out there for 4 hours. And I bathe in sunblock. Still burned.

It is hot in Louisiana too...and SO freaking humid. I have a fro 24/7. I feel like I'm roasting every time I step outside. I'm pretty sure I could leave a steak in my car for 2 hours & have it come out cooked well-done

Girli, be careful! I swear by using an umbrella now at the beach. I'm very fair skinned and freckled and the umbrella really helps. It doesn't matter how much I slather lotion on, without the umbrella I get burnt to a crisp! (that's the color I get)

heck yeah, I agree!! I live in LA too. I was at the Seafood festival over the weekend and it was WAY too hot to be walking around with no shade.

Definitely taking an umbrella next time. I even had to look at my sunscreen and check the date because I thought something was wrong but it was just the strong sun. Temps hit almost 100 degrees that day according to the news. It was hot and cloudless so no repreive from the sun anywhere.

I noticed that with one of the pics from yesterday. He is such a good sport about it, but I still wouldn't want to "attack" him like that just to get a picture. I'd love to get a picture, but that's a little excessive.

Maybe he is just tired in that picture.

I close on my new hosue tomorrow and start moving things in this weekend! I am going to create a "reading room" and there is going to be some Twilight stuff in there. I have an actual theatre poster of the first movie and then a smaller one for Twilight. I plan to get the poster calendar as well. I have an apple and red ribbon, I still need the chess pieces and the damned tulip for the display. I just cannot find a silk tulip like the one on the cover of Eclipse. It will also have my Gryffindor Wall hanging and Harry Potter calendar. As well as my special scarf (almost nobody else in the world has it- won it at a screening of Prisoner of Azkaban. It was provided by Warner Bros to the theatre), and my wand and robe. Any other ideas for the reading room?

I also have a curio cabinet that holds my collectible books and my collectible Twilight will be going in there along with my autographed book copies.

God, I respect him so much. He puts up with everything and he really isn't loving dealing with the fame. It just makes me wonder about him, like alone. Like what kind of a guy he is. It just makes me sad to see him like that.

I'm sweating just thinking about that. I was in New Orleans for the French Quarter Festival and I was dying...and it wasn't even as hot as it is now! Looks like I'll be spending my summer indoors (hah, I say that like I actually had plans to go outside )


Now back on topic here...I just found out a local venue here that is super close to my apartment is playing Twilight on the 22nd. Free popcorn $1 beers free admission...I'm thinking I should go!
