Kristen?? Worst actress ever?? You obviously haven't had the misfortune of watching the 2005 version of House of Wax with Paris Hilton.

I think the other poster should be able to call Kristen the worst actor ever in her opinion WITHOUT having to see the movie. That's just mean to wish that sort of torture on somebody!!!!

Oh, so earlier today I was stealing boxes from work (I'm moving!) and while trying to shove a bunch of enormous boxes into my tiny clown car I thought to myself "if only I had Rob here, helping me put boxes in my car and being hot"

I am so glad someone agrees with me! I liked the movie but she almost ruined it for me. She looks the part of Bella to me but acted nothing like I thought Bella should.She seemed like she liked Edward and was attracted to him but not absolutely head over heels in love like in the book. Oh and she was sooooo serious. Part of what I loved about Bella in the book was her sense of humor! All of these things could have been the director or the script. I love Natalie Portman and think she is a great actress but she was AWFUL in the Star Wars movies!!!!! New Moon was my fav of the 4 books so I really hope the new director and possibly larger budget will make the movie way better!!!

PLease don't throw anything at me lol..i don't think KS is a good actor either..i think she is twitchy and doesn't show her emotion and i think they could have gotten someone better for the part In the book Bella is completey head over heels in love with Edward..like can't live if that person isn't around in love..it doesn't really come across that way in the movie. Whatever..lol Im going to duck now.....

I'll come out and say it... I agree! I think she was purposely trying NOT to look so totally in love with him because of some off screen situation, perhaps. She looked like she could take him or leave him. It's ok to have an opinion and I will not throw anything at you. but my friends on the left and right... they may not be so nice. LOL Just kidding, I saw that little smiley and he was so cute I had to use him.



Seriously, it should be ok to have an opinion. Not everybody will always agree. But are they right? Are they wrong? I try not to care.

I've said many times that alot of the acting, IMO, was pretty bad but DEFINITELY I enjoyed the movie. It's all good.

Kristen has grown on me as Bella, but she just seem so tortured all the time. I want to see some real just sweet moment with her all smiley and happy to be with Edward. Rob on the other hand, was totally believable. The only time I really felt that Kristen wanted "Edward" was during the hospitable seen. She sure is going to have to show more of that during New Moon.

Honestly, they should do a montage or something at the beginning of New Moon showing their summer together. Showing their love growing and her HAPPY. That way it will be way more believable to see her anguish when Edward goes away to S. Florida to spend several months with his true love, Danielle.

Yes anyone has the right to have any opinion they want. However, I'm just pointing out that it's not a very well informed one, if you haven't had the mis-pleasure of watching Paris' performance. Another bad one was Rob Zombie's House of a 1,000 Corpses, both movies I had to suffer through to make my DH happy.

But why stay in S.Florida when he can take you off the Isle Esme? You could try and tear the entire house down instead of just destroying a few pillows.

I don't by any means think that Kristen will be winning an Oscar anytime soon either. However to call her the worst actress ever when you have people like performances like the one Paris Hilton gave in House of Wax, I think is way off the mark. Also, this is the way I looked at her "twitchy" behavior...Edward's body is cold and I just thought it was her showing a bodily reaction to his cold body.

Regarding Kristen, I don't think she should be called the worst actress ever just because Twilight wasn't perhaps her best performance. She has some great performances, my favorite being hers in Speak.

I agree that Robert is a total believable as Edward. I think he was totally perfect for the part his demeanor was just spot on. I feel in love with him during this movie that is how good he was. Like if I saw him in the street I would keel over and die. I can imagine how hard it would be to stay focused with him around...my lines would not be my focus

That is so sad. I hate those kind of movies. My DH's friend was thinking of seeing Twilight to find out what all the fuss was about (he's a fan of those movies you just mentioned) and I told him that him seeing Twilight to see what all the fuss is would be as much fun as me seeing Saw for the same reason! He then knew that he would never, ever see Twilight. lol
