I've been reading Edward and Renesmee fanfic all day, because the image of Edward holding a baby gives me warm fuzzies.

I love me some Twilight Fanfic!

I like Freida Pinto as Leah. She is really beautiful. I saw her on the Golden Globes last night and was thinking wow she could be Leah. Whatcha think?



While I think Vanessa Hudgins is a pretty girl, I don't particularly care to see her in Twilight. I don't see her fitting. JMO.

I could definitely see her as a Leah! She's supposed to be kind of non-girly- Hello! She's a werewolf! And Vanessa screams "PINK" in my opinion..

Ok guys, maybe its just me, but I am about 3/4 of the way through New Moon, and honestly, I am NOT a Jacob fan. I miss Edward and the rest of the bloodsuckers...Are the other 2 this way?

New Moon was a hard read for me too, but mainly b/c of Bella's mental state. It made me want to curl up in a ball in my bed, pull the covers over my head, and forget the world was there.

OK, Confession time...I was having a hard time with New Moon as well and actually had to ask some questions about the outcome so I knew what was coming! I was having a hard time with her and Jacob (not that I didn't like Jacob) and needed to make sure Bella & Edward were going to eventually be together!!! I am one who really needs happy endings!!

I'll never forget when I watched City of Angels...I was loving it and it was the end..and Oh, they finally get to be together and then BAM!!...she gets killed!! Never saw it coming!! I was really pissed that I had sat thru the movie to end up getting that kind of ending! So I totally understand the struggle with New Moon but just keep going...everything about the books is wonderful...even the process of getting thru New Moon!!

I had the same problem with that movie. It was a great movie, until the ending. Now that I know what is coming at the end, I refuse to sit through the rest of the movie. When I hear the song that is from that movie, I just turn the channel. I'm even worse about dog movies. My sister saw Marley and Me (or maybe she read the book) and I had to ask her how that ended. Yeah not going to see that one.

When my DH has that on I yell at him and tell him he's sick for watching that. I don't know how anyone could watch that! Just like the Sarah McLachlan commercials. LOL

I admit, I did look ahead to make sure there were mentions of Edward and the rest of the Cullens. I am at the part now where Alice has just come back...should be done soon.

UGH I am not a huge fan of New Moon either. I felt the same way...sad and depressed for Bella. Anyone who's remotely been through something like that can relate to the despair she was feeling. As much as I'm looking forward to the movie, I am dreading it as well. I hope they find a way to make it tolerable yet I don't want them to make her totally mad crazy, skippy and happy as if she's forgotten Edward either. It's going to be a tough blend.

I have to change the channel when the Sarah McLachlan commercials come on. A girl can only cry over that commercial so many times. My family has always been big dog people. When my sister was in Law school at Tulane in New Orleans she had to do so many volunteer hours. Of course she did it with a dog rescue group. Both her and my parents adopted dogs from her group. My parents drove from the Dallas/ Fort Worth area of Texas to New Orleans to pick up their two. They said after they did it for the first dog, they wouldn't do it again. However when they saw a picture of the 2nd dog, they couldn't resist. He's so cute my hubby wants him for our dog. The previous owner who gave him to the rescue group said he was half yellow lab (I think) and half basset hound.

Yeah for me New Moon was as hard to read as Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix was. Of course it was for different reasons. I just wanted to be able to jump through the pages of the HP & tOotP and kick Umbridges rear. I too am dreading the movie in a way, but I can't wait to see it. I am not only dreading the Bella's depression, but the casting of Leah. The way I put it to my hubby was that waiting for this movie was like waiting for a baby to be born. You aren't looking forward to the labor pains, but the baby in the end will be worth it.

I use all kinds of different fabric but i mostly get it from Joann's or Hobby lobby sometimes Wal-mart

oh ok. Sorry I just noticed this post. . If you were in the DFW area in Texas, I could tell you a place to get some fabric that. In fact they have a lot of the same fabric that JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby has. My favorite place to get fabric, you have to have a tax I.D. to be able to walk in the door and you have to buy the fabric by the bolt.

Yeah Claudia acts more like the child of James and Bella, not Edward and Bella. Eventhough he was evil, that was a waste of a hot vampire(James).

As far as the anti-Vanessa bandwagon, why would it be personal? As far as I know, no one on this thread knows Vanessa.

In my opinion, she's a terrible actress. One dimensional. I enjoy the HSM movies, but she's the weakest link. She's a pretty face that has really only gotten by on her looks, because her talent is marginal, at best.

Leah is supposed to be tough, especially mentally. I picture Leah having a somewhat athletic build, especially later on. Vanessa Hudgens is in no way my picture of Leah. If she were cast it would suddenly be less about the book, the movie, the talented actors, it would headline, "HSM star to star in Twilight sequel." And the other actors deserve better than that.
