Arrgghh! I didn't! I didn't have the camera with me. And anyway, it's hard enough on DH that his 44 y.o. wife acts like a 12 y.o. fangirl-- I try not to make my "inner crazy" so obvious! I tell you, I haven't even broached the subject of the Twilight Summer School in Forks next June. He'd probably have a cow when I mentioned the $400 cost for DD13 and I to go.

Just tell him it's a highly exclusive private tutoring camp for DD and will ensure her a high paying job that will support her parents in the way that they should be accustomed!!!

Seriously, y'all, how do we do it? I really do have to hide my obsession. I know he's worried that I have read almost nothing else than these books since October. I usually read like a maniac. Every time he sees me with one of the books in my hands he sort of looks at me like I'm a little crazy! I just got Eclipse back from my friend, who's had it for 2 weeks. I read it through quickly before I gave it to her, and now I have read the first two again the intervening two weeks and I'm halfway through it again. I'm sick.

It was so fun to do the whole pseudo-"Forks" mini-vacation! I had to see the movie again the next day to see if I had the right back alleyway (I did) and it was like I was a character in the movie! I had been to and hung out at all those different places... very fun experience. I Highly recommend it. And yes, thank you, my DH is a great sport... he is my Edward.

I have the same problem! My husband seems to be okay with the whole Twilight thing for the most part but I definitely hide the majority of the obsession. I can tell it bothers him a little bit-there's no way he'd let me go to a convention or a Forks trip . He is okay with a Disney convention however-we keep talking about going to the one in Allentown, PA every summer but it always falls at a bad time for us.
I have a friend who's had New Moon for 3 weeks now and I'm starting to itch to get it back! I've been reading parts of Eclipse lately knowing that I'm going to lose that one next.

My 7 yo dd already says im weird, because..."i don't know how many Mommies only read vampire books"..i tried to tell her that i have been reading about vampires and werewolves since i was a kid (my Grandmother got me hooked..she is a also a bit obsessed with vamps and shapeshifters) ..and that just made it worse..she rolled her eyes and said "you are just too weird for me:.. My Dh is cool about my Twilight obsession and just my general vamp obsession...he tells my girls to leave me be and let me be happy

So I was playing with flair this morning on facebook. I read one that made me giggle, and my DH asked me what was so funny. I said that he wouldn't get it, but he insisted I read it to him anyway. It said "I want to La Push Jacob Black off a cliff". After I explained it to him, he said I was too obsessed with "that stupid book and movie", and that he was going to put a filter on my laptop that won't allow me to find anything with Twilight and Disney. I said "Go ahead and try and I will fake being crazy to get out of murder charges for killing you."
