John Granger



John Granger is best known for explaining the artistry, meaning, and popularity of Joanne Rowling's Harry Potter novels. His four books, How Harry Cast His Spell (Tyndale, 2008), Unlocking Harry Potter: Five Keys for the Serious Reader (Zossima 2007), The Deathly Hallows Lectures (Zossima, 2008), and Harry Potter's Bookshelf: The Great Books Behind the Hogwarts Adventures (Penguin, 2009) are used in University classrooms from Princeton to Pepperdine because they are the only books in print that discuss the literary merits and cultural impact of Ms. Rowling's novels. He has been a Featured Speaker at seven academic and fan conferences and his theories and thoughts have been written up in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. In addition to almost one hundred radio talk show appearances, John has been interviewed on CNN, MSNBC, and A&E. Here's a cool site I found where you can download the handwriting fonts of Edward, Bella, Alice, and Jacob. It's pretty cool. I was already playing around on Word with Edward writing a love letter to me!

Has anyone read Go Ask Alice or Twisted or Thirteen Reasons? They're possibles in my to read list.

I really liked Go Ask Alice. I recommend reading Revolutionary Road. I'm about halfway through and it is just beautiful. I can't wait to see the movie with Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio.

I was trying to look up the twilight font a long time ago and it was really tough to find (unless you paid for it) so I'll be glad to see it for free!

Mel, I don't have MAC, only Windows, and I downloaded it (it was as a zip file) then all I did was use the help menu in my computer on how to install new font. I had to change it from a zip and put the file on my desktop, then I followed the instructions. It was pretty easy.

Went and downloaded the Twilight font Laura gave, here's what I did, hope it makes sense:

It downloads as a zip. Save it to your desktop. Then go into your control panel under fonts. Click install new fonts and then select where you saved the file to. Then just go into Word and check and see that your new font is there. Make sure you note what the fonts name is.

The directions are "COMING SOON" for windows. I got the fonts installed and they work!!!
