You're probably safer if you stay over there. This thread is going down like the Titanic! :rotfl:

I can tell.. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I only come to this thread if there's anything important to say about Twilight. ;)

**hears "As Time Goes By" from Casablana gently playing in the background**

Well Blue Banana Gang....at least we'll always have Facebook...

I'm off to bed, I hope we can all still see this in the morning.

I'm sososo excited that Taylor Lautner gets to reprise his role as Jacob!

Hooray!

And I'm definitely steering clear of all this blue banana talk! I'm actually surpised the mods haven't picked up on it yet. :scared: :rotfl:

I can't look at that picture and NOT laugh!

I'm gigglin' all over again reading about you guys laughing at it!

Ugh, I hated the poster so much! How they managed to un-hot the two of them is beyond me :confused3
:lmao:

:rotfl:
You are hysterical. I have managed to spit water out about 3 times just now from reading about your *ahem* bandwidth issues.

::sshh::

I was also going to quote your banana cover post, but I can't bear to see it again for fear that water will shoot out of my mouth yet again from laughing. :lmao: :rotfl2:

:rolleyes1

OME! I'm away for one night and I have 6 pages to catch up on! :faint:

My goodness, I don't belive I've laughed so much in a long time. This thread is a great pick me up before I go to work, that's for sure. :rotfl2:

What???? I was taking medication for that!!!!

Now you need to call everybody you've ever shared a bandwidth with and tell them you've been exposed to my bandwidth issues!

:scared:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sharing my banana is no longer working for us. :snooty:

:lmao:

This is a sharing kind of group, dear. :lmao:

Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz:

I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.

The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

very best

Chris Weitz

I'd just like to add that I was very much a part of this decision. My first priority was always what was best for New Moon—what was going to give us the best possible movie. I'm truly thrilled that Taylor was the one who proved to the director, to Summit, and to me that he is the best possible Jacob we could have. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he's going to bring to Jacob's character this year.

YAY!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yay! I'm excited, I thought he was so sweet in Twilight. :goodvibes

I called Carlisle, he says the burning and itching will go away eventually. Just gotta keep applying that sparkle cream 4 times daily.

:lmao:

Oh, and I'm the pitiful one in this bunch of bananas. I've only seen the movie in theater once. I would love to go see it again, but I don't know if it's playing near us anymore. I really should check that out.

And on a side note, I'm trying to be patient because so many of you have recommended sticking with it, but I'm having such a hard time getting into Dead Until Dark. I don't know why, it's just not grabbing me.

And by the by, Edward would have been fine in the whole Titanic scenario. He's so cold that water wouldn't even have phased him. :thumbsup2

I am so happy Taylor is Jacob. I hope he isn't going too crazy to bulk up. I think I can deal with a smaller Jacob, they can still have him be dangerous.

Well then you and I are both a couple of pitiful bananas. I've only been able to see it once. I am the only girl in my family and it can be hard for me to get away from the boys to see a movie that they consider "girly". This weekend however is my birthday and I have already told my DH that if he wants any shread of hope to get to play World of Warcraft at all that I will get to take my sister in law to see Twilight on Sunday. You should have seen the shocked look on his face. We have this rule in our house that the birthday person dictates the entire weekend close to their birthday, so he knew there was no getting out of it.

We survived!!!!!!!

:dancer: party: :dancer: party: :dancer:

Our thread made it through the night!!!!!!!!

I have only seen THE movie twice in THE theater. I look forward to the DVD in March, but I can guess my DH won't be looking forward to it! :upsidedow

Good Morning everyone!!!

Holy cow I missed a lot of craziness here last night! :lmao:

I have actually only ever seen Twilight once in the theater ... at midnight on opening night... babysitters are hard to come by in my neck of the woods... they were always at Twilight!!! both of my teen daughters have seen it 3 or 4 times each - and I made them read the books !!! grrrr :headache: it's not playing anywhere near me now... I watched it online the otherday... it was probably a highly illegal website - it was missing about 15 minutes - which is how they probably got around the copyright issues - but it was fun and I got to fall asleep watching the prom scene...

over and over ... :cloud9:

I would have to double check with my sister (who is a lawyer and she specialized in copyright law), but I'm like 99% sure that taking out 15 minutes of the movie still wouldn't get them around the copyright laws. Now if it was an on line movie theater where they buy the movie, like a normal movie theater does, and then you pay to see the movie. That's probably legal. Otherwise, it's like you said highly illegal.

okay so i am taking a poll how many times have you seen twilight? (changing the focus back ):lmao:

8 times...and would still go see it again if anyone would go. I think though for now I'm content to wait until the DVD/BluRay comes out...I think....

Yeppers I was right she says that wouldn't get them around the copyright laws and so the site is very illegal and to be careful watching anything on it. With illegal sites like that, there is a higher possibility that you could get a virus on your computer.
