Kristen was just creepy on the Today Show. She's so uncomfortable and wouldn't stop kicking out her leg when she was sitting there. Even when they went outside, she was introverted. If she wants to keep getting movie roles, she has to learn how to play the game of promoting the movie after it is produced.

I wonder why she is so fidgety and such in most of these interviews, it is just weird.

I just watched the Today clip.....I think she is very shy and still unsure of herself. And her jacket was too small on her. Did she not get paid yet? Someone buy her a new coat!

I was telling my DH last night, "of course alot of critics are going to slam it. It's a READ."

Roger Ebert said something along the lines of: strip away the vampire bits and it's a love story between two teens and sometimes, that's all you need.

It's true. This is an interesting story but it's a REALLY GREAT LOVE STORY. There have been 1,000's of vampire books and millions of romance novels and right now what's happening is that THIS ONE has captured the hearts and minds of ALOT of people. That's because there was something about it. (chills) something SPECIAL (more chills) and that's what made the book(S!) great. It cannot be denied no matter how the movie does. It is a phenomenon.

What is any great love story? A love story. They're expecting some miracle of greatness in terms of a movie but they don't get it. It's a love story. The end. On top of that, most critics (and now I generalize, and that's lame, I realize) are men. They don't get it. Simple as that.

I don't care for Kristen's attitude in real life but I don't want to know that she and rob are uncomfortable together. I want to melt into my favorite love story (currently) and forget about them.

It's fun to speculate though, don't get me wrong, I love the gossip, I'm a hound, for sure! (tag fairy??) LOL

When she and Rob were walking outside, Kristen said "Two-faced" about the fans... I just dont like her more and more. Rob also seems INFATUATED with her and she seems to be annoyed anytime he is questioned about liking her. Geesh, enjoy the ride Kristen and get USED to it!!

Oh, and t minus 12 hours exactly and counting....

BArf. Well, I imagine most people are not nearly as interested in seeing "Bella" on the big screen as they are about seeing "Edward"...so to Kristen Stewart.

It's very typical for actors to be introverted. Some of them are very painful interviewees. Keanu Reeves is the first one I think of, but there are many. I'm sure this isn't what Kristen expected when she signed on. She probably thought it was a sort of indie movie, that's what Catherine Hardwicke usually does. She looks like she wants to crawl back into her hiding spot! And she probably wants to keep her boyfriend happy, which would be why she cringes when they ask Robert about their relationship.

I really feel soooooo much tension between the two of them. I totally get that Kristen is shy and definitely not an open book but it just seems like Rob is making such an effort to be friendly and he's hitting a stone wall. In all honesty, I think Kristen really is misunderstood and there has to be a lot of pressure/jealousy associated with being Bella Swan. But I will say that she butchered her explanation of why she wanted Rob to play Edward. Thankfully, it seems like Rob can take a jab

Anyways I just watched it on their web-site and I think its sad that she doesn't seem to be enjoying this whole thing, its her career and she chose to do this movie

As for Rob , he seemed so much more talkative and friendly today, he seems to have a crush on her from seeing her in the movie 'Into the Wild'.
It wouldn't hurt her to be abit more friendly,

Maybe there is a little nervousness about Kristen becasue of the chemistry with Rob. According to the article on the People website, they were in some very close situations, as we can imagine based on the story, and Rob has proposed to her...she said she didn't know if he was serious, but maybe she is hopeful! IDK, I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt and not criticize her becasue I'm jealous. She is only 18, as a grown woman I don't know that I would be able to handle what she's going through.

Oh, give poor Kristen a break! On the Today Show she seemed extremely nervous, which is probably why she comes across as aloof. Many big named celebrities admitted have stage fright and anxiety in crowds and talking to people. Nicole Kidman had said she's dealt with major public anxiety, so has Michelle Pfeiffer. The kid is 18 years old. I think she's handling herself well given the frenzy she's been thrust into.

She looked terrified when Meredith told them they were going outside to meet the crowds. And when Meredith said that the crowds where all nice, I didn't hear Kristen say "two-faced" as another poster wrote, I heard, "yeah, to your face." Who knows, maybe she has stalker. Really, it's got to be a scary situation for her.
