I can't see the picture you linked to. Regardless, I think it's a butt ugly picture and not how I pictured her at all.

I fixed it with a link. Anyway, I think the picture of Kristen is actually very lovely, it's just a bad photoshop. Honestly, I preferred earlier photoshop's where her eyes are red and she has blood around her mouth, those were very cool.

If they had cropped it just a little higher, it would have looked much better. I like the topaz eyes, though red wouldn't have been so bad, however I'm glad they took away the blood rom around the mouth. That is way too cliche, I like that her vampires are not stereotypical.

Great news: The Collector's Edition is being released on October 15 (day before my birthday). I have already preordered mine and it is schedule to arrive on the 21st. I know sometimes they ship them so they arrive on the day of release, so I was hoping they would do the same thing with this, then I would have it for my birthday. :(

They also have a date for the official guide (in December) and the mass market paperback (October 28). They also have a link to a "READ" poster from the American Library Association that shows Rob and Kristen standing together reading Twilight. I'm going to order two: one for me and one for my classroom!

yes stitch we have all been through that and then something just happens when you watch the previews after a bit that makes you say you know he is going to be a good Edward:goodvibes

yea thats true I saw a preview of it and then saw a interview online with him and he kinda has the vibe for sure that make him look good for the part :)

Anyone else disapointed with Ellen's interview with Stephenie? :sad2: I wish it had been longer than 3 minutes and I was hoping Ellen would ask her if she was going to consider finishing Midnight Sun.

Yeah, too short, it was like an introduction to Twilight and Ellen promised she would ask about MS. But, it looks like she was running out of time so...

what I wish is that I had known she was coming on in the first place...come on CP you usually are on top of everything...I depend on you gf....your droppin the ball:lmao:

I was disappointed in the interview as well-not long enough! It was funny though when Stephenie said she got the idea for Twilight from a dream and Ellen picked up the book, saw how long it was and said "You must sleep a long time" .:rotfl2:

Saw this on People.com today...

Paramore Records Two Songs for Twilight Film
By Jessica Gold Haralson
Originally posted Friday September 19, 2008 03:40 PM EDT

Paramore's Hayley Williams is a huge fan of the Twilight phenomenon – and now she's a part of it!

"Twilight really caught my attention and held it. I'm really excited to see the book adapted to film and excited that our band gets to be a part of the phenomenon," Williams said, in a statement Friday to MTV News, confirming the band will have two songs on the soundtrack for the upcoming Twilight movie.

Williams has posted multiple photos of herself with the vampire-themed novels and blogged extensively about her love for the Stephanie Meyers-penned books and says she's more than happy about the collaboration.

"Twilight is the first series of books I've ever read. I didn't get into the Harry Potter series, even though I love the movies," she said.

The Twilight movie, starring Kristen Stewart as shy teenager Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as her vampire paramour Edward, will be in theaters Nov. 21.

I've never heard of that band. :confused3

Here's how far my Twilight obsession has gone: I meant to re-read Eragon and Eldest for the midnight release of Brisingr tonight, but couldn't tear myself away from Twilight long enough to do it. Hopefully this weekend I'll get my Twilight area set up.

At the moment I have a full sized movie poster, and then another poster of Bella and the Cullens. The books are going to live on a set of drawers in the nook by my bathroom, and it's gonna be decorated based on the covers. There will be a black cloth bordered in red ribbon (for Eclipse) with a fake apple, a red pawn and white Queen, and the tulip from New Moon (well, as close as I could come to it). I'm also going to get the "Read" poster by the American Library Association that shows Kristen and Robert reading Twilight together. I'll post pictures once I get it set up.

That set up sounds awesome.

I went so far with my twilight obsession as to start a fan fic just so I can continue reading about the characters...even if I have to write it myself. If that makes sense.

I just had a quick question for all of you too. When it first came out that Rob was going to play Edward, was there really that huge of an uproar?? I did not start to read the books until after the parts in the movie were cast. So when I finished Breaking Dawn and ran to the internet to find out more about Twilight, I was excited to see that there was a movie and I thought Rob looked exactly how I had pictured Edward. :confused3

And I dunno why but while reading the books I always pictured Bella as that girl on ABC Family's Secret Life of the American Teenager.

I love Paramore. Glad to hear they're providing music for the film.
