TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

Just picked up my book too! I'm running on four hours of sleep and I'm not planning on sleeping tonight (I also have a wedding to attend tomorrow. I'm dumb. )

I just had a moment of silence for the 'last' book (from Bella's perspective). And now I'm pumped! See you ladies later too!

I left my house at 11:55 and drove to Wal*Mart...walked in the door at 12:00 and got a book in my hand. a nice man with a full cart let me in front of him and I was out the door at 12:02 and home before 12:09... Off to read.Yay!

I apologize if this has been asked/discussed, but how does this compare to Tuck Everlasting? I've seen the books but have not felt the desire to read them. I saw the preview for the movie and got excited because at first I thought it was another take on Tuck Everlasting. It just seems like a Tuck knock-off with vampires. Has anybody read both books? How are they similar/different?Is there enough original material in the Twilight series to be worth it or is she just recycling the same idea as Tuck?

I think I'm about to call it a night..even though I HATE to! My eyes just won't focus anymore at this point.

I am happy with it so far though. It's funny I should have known better than to get so worked up about the spoilers. When in the right context everything really does work.

Can't wait to hear every one's take on everything..over on the Breaking Dawn thread of course.

I made it to page 12 before I passed out. No kids this weekend, so I just woke up. And again, here I sit on the puter, not even picking it up. What is wrong with me? I don't want it to end I think is my issue.

I was all pumped to get the book first thing this morning....

bright eyed and bushy tailed, I headed to the exhange on the base here, book sold out! I was sad, but re-assured myself I would just stop by wally world on the way home.

Go to wal-mart. Book sold out!!! SERIOUSLY?

Left straight from wal-mart to the local barnes and noble. Walk in and the table with the Breaking Dawn advertisement is EMPTY!!! Oh my freaking GOD! Just then, the book store lady starts putting out more books. I seriously wanted to lay a good ol' fashioned smooch on that woman.

I'm 5 chapters in now, and have to leave to play a stupid softball game with fools I work with. UGH.

Not reading any of this thread (so scared of potential spoilers)...just popping in to say I bought my copy of Breaking Dawn this morning.

I had a silly little grin on my face while in the checkout line.

I started reading and I've still got that silly little grin on my face. I can't help it. I am so tickled to finally have this book in my hand and to lose myself in the story again.

Ok, back to Bella and Edward...

At the gym today, I was surprised at how many had it in their clutches while on the bikes or treadmills etc. I can not read and get a good workout, so I saved it for later. I'm in a few chapters.

UtahMama, you are funny! I can't even glance at the next paragraph, I don't want to spoil anything. Though, the first thing I did last night was look at the very last page by accident. I opened it up and saw The End and jumped so fast to get it closed. I am reading very slow, only on page 156! I hope to drag it out for 4 days if I can.

Ah there's someone still up at this hour. I just came to a break in the story where I feel ok to put it down. I'll get some sleep and pick up in the morning.
