I downloaded this from my local library(several weeks ago)...WOW..I was so hooked. I had to listen to all 3. I wanted to read them but my library don't carry them. So I bought them.
My DD is hooked too. She and her friends are reading them together.

It made cry during some of it.

My DD loves Edward but I like Jacob...Bella get on my nerve with her whining...

Also, the 4th book is coming out in august, ...they are making a movie too!

Have you had a chance to read the first chapter of Midnight Sun on Stephenie's site? It is Twilight from Edwards point of view and very good!

Everyone has their own vision of what Edward is to them. I hope that everyone gives Robert a chance to prove he can pull it off. I love Robert and think he will be an excellent Edward. He has such strong striking features and from everything I've been reading he really has great chemistry with Kristen ( Bella) I also have read that Stephenie is very happy with him as Edward

I hope the actor who plays Jacob grows up and matures in his looks a WHOLE LOT before the 2nd and 3rd movie because he looks like a little boy now (and I know Jacob is young in the first book, BUT, gross). He looks SO much younger than all the other actors, all of them, and he is supposed to be just a year behind Bella, right?

Another Twilight fan checking in. One of my dear Dis friends recommended it to me and once I started reading I could not stop! I devoured all three books in under three days, it would have been faster but I only bought Twilight originally so I had to wait a day to go out and buy the other two books.

I really like the casting for the movie so far although I agree with you all that Jasper's hair looks horrible in those promo shots that have been released, hopefully they will change it. I've bookmarked all the webpages you guys have mentioned so that I can check them out, can't wait!

Thanks, this is fun to see people enjoying books and a different outlook of things...Love hearing everyones reviews.

Actually it was a fluck when I came across this book...at first I did not have any interest at all... then one day I was just bored... 9 o'clock at night...so I downloaded it...end up staying up to 4 o'clock morning . I to make myself to go to bed. I spent all weekend listen to all the books.
Then the following weekend I had my daughter start listen...she spent the whole weekend listening to it...now, she reading it....We just got the books.

My DH ask me if he could read it..I said no, its really a girls book....he would not enjoy it....even time I suggest a book...he does not like it...except Harry Potter books.

I did watch youtube, I just don't know....I just picture someone different...I think, he can pull it off.

I did go read Midnight Sun...WOW...Edwards point of view....I really could visualize his thinking....this is the part I really could only picture somewhat in the other books.... you get the idea what Edward thinking .. but you don't really focuse on. thanks!

Good for you! I am excited for you. I wish I could go to one of her book signings, but she is not coming anywhere close to me.


On another note. I think Robert Pattinson will do a great job as Edward.
I have to honestly say, he is almost what I pictured Edward to look like. He has impressed me in the few things I have seen him act in as well. I think the whole cast is going to do a great job.

I can't wait for the movie.
