TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

I'm about halfway through with New Moon now. I am loving it! My dd has been really busy with UIL but I can't wait until I have time to talk to her about it.

You're lucky to have someone to talk to. My youngest son just finished Twilight - it took him literally a month and if I ask him anything or talk about it he's just like :confused3 . Like "okay mom, it was fine, but I don't want to talk any more!" Of course he's like that about everything, but still!

Oldest DS has read all 3 and I've tried talking with him and asking him questions and he takes anything I say as criticism and says "Why do you have to always ruin everything?" He's one of these people who I swear just takes everything at face value and doesn't go any deeper. If we're watching a movie and I say "Why would he do that? I wouldn't", he'd say something like "Yes, mom, you're perfect. Now go away because you're ruining the movie!"

Just frustrating because I want to talk about them and don't have anyone to talk to! Trying to get middle DS to read them, but he's not a reader - but he would be fun to talk to. Maybe I'll try harder!

I was flipping the channels last night and saw Goblet of Fire so of course I had to stop and watch "Edward". I really do think he's going to be perfect for the role. I just finished re-reading Twilight and I'm glad I did. It's hard to keep up with some of the fanatics out there!

I bought the first in the Charlaine Harris series but I haven't read it yet. I'm looking forward to it though.

Okay, I'm sorry - I wasn't really paying attention to the movie discussions here because I was focusing on the books first. What role did "Edward" play in Goblet of Fire?

Thanks!

You can talk to us!! :goodvibes

Any questions you have..just ask away! I'm sure all of us here..NEVER get tired of talking Twilight, at least I know I don't!!:rotfl:

I have my DD AND my sister that I could talk to about the books as I was reading. They both read them first, and are the ones that talked me into reading them. I'm so glad they did!!

It definitely helped to have them to talk to..otherwise I think I would have exploded!! :lmao:

So please..take advantage of my obsession..you'd be doing me a favor!;)

 I'm sorry, that has to be frustrating. My DD and I have always enjoyed discussing books together. It's just not as often anymore between her activities and just being a teenager. :sad2: I can't wait to see her today though, I have stuff to say about the book.

Marciemi- That's what we're for! :grouphug: You know, your imaginary friends! (It's what I call my on-line friends...)

LOL! Boys are "funny" aren't they?

I love Robert and Krsiten -I think they will be wonderful in the movie. I am so excited about it and I love our Twilight Mom stalkers - they are doing a great job at getting some inside scoop:thumbsup2

saw those pics. I just want to say that Robert has great hair...lol Seriously!

Thanks - I'm going to have to rent HP4 this weekend and try to remember what he looked like - haven't seen that one in about 6 months and of course my memory's not what it used to be!

Well, I re-read all 3 of them so now I can make my middle son start on them so I have someone to talk to. I liked Edward a lot more the second time through though! Thanks for the support!

That's what I always called them! But I hang out on a "clique" thread and they all thought that was kid of a strange thing to say - they all say "friends in a box"! Someone else had a hilarious cartoon (that I can't find now of course!) that said something like "I LO-OVE my computer because all my friends live there!" :rotfl:

One more quick question for you guys - you all keep refering to some site by "Twilight Mama" or something similar. Is there a link there and/or what is it? All I've found so far was the site quoted on the first page of this thread with the chapter of Midnight Sun. Thanks again!

You will LOVE the 3rd one. I love them all, but Twilight and Eclipse are my favs. I do love New Moon and it was very important to the whole story line, you will see that in Eclipse. Enjoy!

I agree with that completely. While I liked New Moon a lot, I didn't really appreciate it until I read Eclipse. I'm ready to read it again soon.
