I know on the live coverage tonight, they themselves are supposed to be talking with the cast!!! So I'm really excited about that!!

I found most of them through the news blog on the Lexicon-they have a link to Pattisononline which has 4 different reports and they kind of sum it up. I am enjoying the media reports because you can actually hear the answers to questions. I'm sure people who were at the event couldn't hear the answers to the questions over the screaming. I think it's during the ET interview, Rob says something like "They're not screaming at me, they're screaming at my character." Awwww. I'm thinking that if they do something like this again, it's going to be a little more organized to keep the mayhem down

I would have been just as excited to see Stephenie-so I could grill her with "when is Midnight Sun coming out???" I need to know how long I have to wait after Aug 2nd for my next fix

I think it's on G4 from 7-10 tonight. That's the channel and time it was on last night. Last night they talked about the True Blood series that's coming on HBO in Sept. I'm looking forward to that as well!

That's true. It's still within the same story, I just know I'll miss Bella's point of view. But you're right! Hopefully she still plans on writing a few more books from different perspectives.

And everyone has me really curious about Comic Con. I'm watching Day One right now and so far, no Twilight stuff has happened and I have to go to work. Thank Heavens for TiVo! And I'm TiVoing Day Two also. I did see that brief intro for the panel where all the girls went a little ballistic online.

My brother was next to me while I was watching it online, and he asked me what it was. I told him and his response was something along the lines of, "Wow. That's probably the most amount of females Comic Con has ever seen."

I got my calendar today!!! It's awesome! As I was picking it up another fan asked if we read the books(I was with my DD and her friend) they said no but I yelled YES!! He(a teenager)said he was a huge fan and loved them! I began telling him about my obsession & DD was so embarrassed!LOL

Holy crow (as Bella would say)! That clip is amazing. I have to say it is much better than the 'original' one that was up on the movie website. James' lines sounded so cheesy in the first one. But this one was incredible! I'm off to watch it again!

ETA: I couldn't stop laughing when Edward showed up, for the first time, onscreen. There was so much screaming!

I am on my way to get the other two books today, and hope to convert a friend at work on Monday so I can have someone to talk to about it. Oh, and someone to go to the movie with.

The fan reaction at Comicon also got a headline on msn dot com. The writer compared it to the coming of the Beatles, and Michael Jackson.

I saw the movie trailer a few weeks ago and had to read the books so went out and got Twilight and in about 5 days had all three read. That was not enough for me so I then proceeded to have two of my sisters and 2 of my friends at church start reading them. Only 1 (my sis) didnt go crazy over them! This past week was VBS at our church and I swear all we got done was standing around and gushing over Twilight. It was the craziest thing. Our pastor walked past us yesterday and rolled his eyes My sis who did'nt care for it was like "If I hear one more word about Twilight I'm gonna puke" Lets keep in mind that we are all in our late 20's or early 30's. Me and my friend Andrea are going to the book release together and a group of us are ordering t-shirts from cafepress.com to wear to the movie. This is soooo much fun!

On a unrelated note is it just me or does Kristen Stewart's acting seem really bad??

Can we discuss the book openly here when we're finished reading? Will people who haven't finished yet know not to open this thread until they're done?

Or will there be an official spoiler thread available?

This has my vote. Not only for those of us who don't read as fast as some people, but also for those who find the thread later and don't want to be spoiled as they read through it.
