But I like Jacob too. Even though he's not completely human, at least he's alive and warm. Which is a bonus in my book.

Edward is certainly beautiful but the fact that he's cold and hard as marble turns me off a little. And the fact that he's dead.

So you can have Edward. Could I just have Robert Pattinson instead?

i am a edward fan But i am also a Jacob fan . i think the vampire fact is what pulls me toward edward . I have always been a fan of Vampires ... but the fact that it is Robert playing Edward is also not to shabby I get chills as i listen to him speak

I am definitely an Edward girl but I "get" Jacob as well. Even though Edward might be cold and well, dead, he's still romantic and sexy. I think I need to go read the books again. . .

Man, I'm so glad I found this thread! I spent all last night reading through all 33 pages...and wowza is there a lot of stuff out there!

I picked up Twilight because I thought the cover was pretty. I know, I know. Silly reason to buy a book...but I finished that in a day and the other two shortly after that! I even got DH to read it, too.

I am entirely pro-Jacob but I understand why Bella will probably end up with Edward. I just feel so bad for Jacob - he always gets the short end of the stick.

oh i did while i was reading in my mind ... but My Edward was always my DH and then Jacob the same too...
it just depended on the mood he was in while i was reading i tease him all the time about it
But as far as a cast I did not, i was just excited to see they were making a movie and would be happy with whoever..
but i am pretty excited about who they chose...

I really didn't visualize any particular actor or actress. I rarely do -especially since when I read the book I didn't know it was going to be a movie. Now when I re-read I see the cast, but I didn't before.

I read the books before they cast the actors. I have to honestly say, that in my head, Kristen and Robert, are just what I pictured Bella and Edward to look like, I mean almost exactly. I don't think they could have done a better job.

I am Team Edward all the way. I agree with whoever said Edward and Bella just work. They are just meant to be. I do love Jacob, but I don't want him and Bella to be together. I want them as best friends. I do hope Jacob finds someone.
