I thought it was funny that Heidi scooted away from him when he said he wasn't into personal hygiene. She asked him if he just rolled out of bed or did he WANT his hair to look like that! :rotfl:

I was just coming to post this. I just watched it and was laughing at the above. Especially him saying he didnt have a sense of personal hygiene. Umm, ya think?????:rotfl:

I'm re-reading New Moon. It's my least favorite.:sad1:

I saw a matinee (not manatee) alone on Monday... it wasn't bad! You can do it! There were at least 4 other solo women there. No worries. :goodvibes

I'm planning on doing this on Saturday if I can't find someone to go with...I've only seen the movie once so far but I want to see it again soooo badly!

I did the solo matinee with the first Pirates of the Caribbean and quite enjoyed it. There were only two other people in the theatre, on opening day. It was great to see it before all the hype poured in.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

I saw the TMZ episode last night with Kristen. I was LOL, she really doesn't get how famous she is now? She can't be smoking up on her front porch unnoticed anymore!!:lmao:

I saw Leno last night too and was cracking up when Heidi was moving away from Rob with his hygiene comment!

Don't forget the cast will be on the Tyra Banks show tomorrow!!!

uh earth to Kristen...if you stop smoking pot you wont be so paranoid :rolleyes1

:lmao:

however I have to disagree with you in regards to her age..ALOT of kids by 21 have been drinking and/or are smoking pot or have tried...

I didn't say it wasn't common, I said, it isn't a good idea. IMO. I was a terribley unhappy teen with alot of issues and "getting away from them" so to speak (per se? lol) was never a good idea for me at that age. Probably shouldn't even mention it here. Just showing my concern. :goodvibes

Twilight continues doing very well at the box office.

'Twilight' Beats Wednesday Opening of 'Four Christmases' To Lead Thanksgiving Box Office; 'Australia' Debuts Distant #7

THURSDAY AM: For this 5-day Thanksgiving holiday, it looks like Twilight and female tweens and teens will go together like turkey and pumpkin pie. It's too soon to call the weekend movie-wise based just on Wednesday's grosses. But the expected frontrunner, New Line/Warner Bros' sour Four Christmases, came in only No. 2 with $6.1M from 3,310 theaters behind $8M from 3,419 venues for Summit Entertainment's no-sex, no-violence, no-stars vampire romance that should spend another weekend in No. 1. "All those kids out of school Friday helped Twilight. Four Christmases did not have that much family interest," one studio exec told me when first numbers came in from the North American box office. MovieTickets.com saw it coming and told me that low-cost blockbuster Twilight had sold more tickets on its site than Bolt, Quantum of Solace, Australia, and Milk combined early in the week. Still, filmgoers may be in the mood for comedy, even a mediocre one, and Four Christmases has "the best shot" to beat the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling book this weekend, according to my box office gurus. They're predicting the Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon PG-13 starrer is on track to debut over $25M in its 3,200+ theaters for the 3-day weekend (which is far better than Vince's last seasonal outing of $18.5M in the just plain awful Fred Claus) and $35M for the 5-day holiday. Summit is hoping for a low $30sM (3-day weekend) and mid $40sM (for the 5-day holiday) for Twilight.

Disney's Bolt finished No. 3 Wednesday with a big comeback of $5.1M in 3,651 plays after a difficult debut last weekend when Twilight skewed younger than expected. The superpooch could also end up in the high $20sM since Thanksgiving audiences love family pics so much. New Bond holdover Quantum of Solace from MGM/Sony was No. 4 and scored $4.1M Wednesday from 3,458 runs. It should have a 3-day weekend total in the high teens. At No. 5, Jason Statham is still a reliable draw in the franchise Transporter 3, now distributed by Lionsgate after the first two were released by Fox, opened with $3.3M Wednesday from 2,626 dates. The actioner is right on pace for $14M over the 3-day weekend and $20M for the 5-day holiday. DreamWorks Animation's toon sequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa distributed by Paramount made $2.7M Wednesday starting its 4th weekend in release by grabbing 6th place.

But the big surprise was the mere 7th place opening Wednesday of 20th Century Fox's sweeping period epic Australia with only $2.5M from 2,642 theaters. This means that Fox was right to predict only $13M for the 3-day weekend and $18M for the 5-day holiday. Rival studios who thought the pic could do $25M and finish No. 4 are quickly pronouncing the pic DOA with a debut like this. ("Fox wasn't lowballing. I guess they knew how bad it was. And with only 52% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, it isn't likely to have legs or get Oscars," one studio exec told me when he saw the numbers.) But Fox is pointing to rave reviews in both The New York Times and Los Angeles Times, plus counting on very strong international appeal because director Baz Lurhmann's films (Moulin Rouge, Romeo & Juliet) do 2x overseas what they do here. ("They have never been sprinters, they have been marathons. It takes awhile for audiences to catch up to his movies, which is why they have such large multiples," a Fox exec told me.). All along, Hollywood questioned whether Baz and fellow Oz countrymen Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman working for a media conglomerate founded Down Under could be a hit in North America. Meanwhile, Fox has marketed the pic less like a tentpole and more like a specialty film since its primary audience is women over age 25. But Australia now looks like a low-grossing Far And Away with Vegemite that's more about Aussie Pride than profit. As for whether financially this is Rupert's Folly, Fox keeps insisting that the film's cost of $125M was tempered by 40% Australian government tax credits to bring Australia's negative cost down to $75M. (As an insider explained, "If you believe in a project and believe in a filmmaker, then the thing to do is to try to responsibly protect the economic downside with partners and investments." Yet again, Kidman proves box office poison while Jackman has only made money playing Wolverine. Worse, Australia follows a summer and fall series of box office losers for the studio.

At No. 8, Universal's rauchy comedy holdover Role Models hung in for $1.1M on 2,195 plays. The Wednesday opening of Gus Van Sant's Oscar-touted pic Milk starring Best Actor nomination shoo-in Sean Penn made $264K, good enough for 9th place. Focus Features has released the well reviewed biopic into 35 theaters in 19 major cities. Look for it to score the best per screen average of the holiday weekend. Two other award-buzzed films continue to stand out in limited release: No. 10, The Boy In The Striped Pajamas from Miramax, with $250k on 582 dates, and No. 12, Slumdog Millionaire from Fox Searchlight, with $200k for 49 runs.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I saw Rob on Leno and I must say, I love how scuzzy he looks, but then again I've always been into the scruffy/dirty looking guys. I was a little grossed out about the personal hygiene thing though...I like the dirty look, not the actual dirtyness

I feel bad for the stars, I have never liked the paparazzi and in my opinion, that is what has caused so many of these young stars to get so messed up. When I sign on to AOL, the welcome screen has lots of celbrity gossip (can't figure out how to get rid of it). They literally have headlines like "Miley Cyrus caught picking nose!" No wonder these kids have so many problems, we can't just leave them alone.

I have a feeling that in a few years they are going to look back at these photos and interviews and feel very embarassed. I'm surprised the publicists haven't talked to either of them about some of the behavior, clue them in a little bit. At least the set for New Moon is a closed set, so that should help. Thank God for small favors.

Happy Thanksgiving Twilighters!
I hope everyone is having a great turkey day i am dealing with my sick Mayson.. POOR GUY!

Aw. I've been sick since Monday, looks like some type of viral cold. I've been feeling better since yesterday, but I'm still getting a little bit of fever around 5pm each day. I just wanna be over it already...

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! Hope you have a great holiday with friends and family. It's a holiday only a vampire could hate. (what's the point? Everything smells icky to them!)

Wait, wait... Cullen family Thanksgiving... tureens of grizzly and mountain lion blood? ewwww... sorry... just my mental image. Esme bringing out a platter with an entire elk on it... Ok, sorry. :rolleyes1

Just saw Rob on Leno. I think he underplays his hygiene and his acting preparation to appear humble. He's very silly and easy going and it seems he's uncomfortable with people taking him too seriously. That's just how it looks to me.

Funny outakes with Rob

I said to DH before Rob came on Leno, "Supposedly he looks wasted or something" and DH said, "Ohhh... too much time in the 'green room' with Bella."

:smokin:

:lmao:

I saw him on Leno last night and I thought it was a great interview. I agree that he is just humble and tries to downplay himself and doesn't like people making too big a deal over him. I also thought he looked really handsome in the interview as well (But isn't that always the case?)

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Twilighters on here, it has been a pleasure being on this "ride" together!! Have a great day! I will be up at 4 a.m. at the stores.... wish me luck!! (Oh and gotta tape Tyra too!!) :thumbsup2
