Twilight/Edward Fans: Pete jumped on us in this week's show!! ;)

I consider the Twilight stuff total crap and do not want to see it in the parks.

Who cares...

I didn't see that you put that pic up, Nikki.

Sort of OT:
I'm not team Edward at all. I think he is a pansy. I agree that Kristen Stewart is a horrible actress when it comes to the Twilight series. Always playing the woe is me card. It's getting old. I did like the books and it pays to see Jacob with his shirt off every movie. I just don't like how they are splitting it into 2 movies for the last book, trying to compete with Harry Potter. The last book was half the size of the Deathly Hallows. There is no need. I do no think that they are going to make as much money on Twilight as they would hope making 2 movies out of one book.

Oh c'mon, tell us how you really feel.

I sure wouldn't want to see it in Disney parks, but Universal being more of a "pop culture" park to me, it sort of seems to fit in more there.

No, you aren't the only one. I totally don't get it. No offense from me either, but I just don't see it. I tried reading the first book, I think I made it to Chapter 4. Again, no offense, Edward? Jacob? I think neither. And Kristen Stewart has to be just about the most annoying actress I've ever seen. Why does she always have the exact same stoney look on her face? I know, I know, you will all think I'm crazy, I did try though, I just do. not. get. it.

Thanks for the book review.;)

I wanted to like Twilight and sat thru two of the movies-hours of my life I will never get back. The story lines do not make sense, the acting is horrible. I guess what some people consider a longing look of true love, I just take as a look of constipation. I have had people tell me the books are much better and I have thought of trying them but I think I will just give up.

I don't care if merchandise is sold anywhere as I have no problem ignoring it. Must now listen to the podcast but count me in as another woman who does not like the series.

Forget Team Edward or Team Jacob.... I'm on Team Alcide!!!

I personally feel that the Twilight movies are garbage. They are only remotely enjoyable if you are a fan of the novels (which I so happen to be) because it brings your favorite characters, settings, and plots to life.

With all of that being said, I really like what Kristen Stewart has done with Bella in the films. She has received so much flack over this role. If one were to truly compare her as Bella to the character in the text, she is dead-on. Bella is not a happy-go-lucky girl. She is not one to walk around with a smile on her face all of the time. She is very quiet and even distant, at times. Kristen portrays her beautifully. I could not see anyone doing a better job as she is 100% Bella as written by Stephenie Meyer.

I think that Breaking Dawn has to be made into two parts because there's just so much there. It's not about page numbers that determines how many films are made although I can understand your point about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Still, if you think about it, Breaking Dawn is two very different stories wrapped up in one. You have the marriage of Edward (-swoon-) and Bella, her becoming pregnant, and all of the intense drama that happens with Renesmee. I think they found that these were two very different events going on in Bella's life and they had to split them as a result. I don't mind it.

Edward looks like he's missing a chromosome.

Christine, are you sayin' something about Nikki (or Nik)? :rotfl2:

 Frick and Frack are at it again. :lmao: :rolleyes1

Absolutely love True Blood! Alcide isn;t too bad, but I've been swooning for Eric and lately Bill. I couldn't stand Bill in the beginning. I can't believe that there are only 3 episodes left :confused3

I was laughing so hard listening to this segment that I snorted at my desk and my coworker looked at me like I was nuts.

"It's all of the cougars who want Edward." :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

"Team Edward, I hate to tell you, but he's on my team." :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

I have to agree with Pete, I think Edward has a little extra twinkle in his eyes.

Heck, I am an old cougar with no teeth (married) but I still wouldn't mind taking a bite of Jacob. :rotfl:
