Twilight Check In question

I'm probably going to stay at Gatwick the night before to save us the stresses of battling the London Rush Hour in the morning.

Does anyone know if you can do a partial bag drop off at Twilight Check In and then check an extra bag separately in the morning? Would quite like to offload our overnight stuff rather than lug stuff we won't need onto the plane.

Check in queues won't be an issue in the morning so it's literally about whether BA is cool with it being split up like that.

Just wondered if anyone had ever done it.

Just giving this a bump as I'm interested to find out the response. If you can't then we will just leave the overnight bag in the car.

We did last year, checked in everything alart from girls car seats as we needed them to get to hotel and bag, just went to bag drop in morning and checked them in
