Clean and Clear continuous control cleanser 10% Benzoyl peroxide. Older daughter had been using a perscription benzoyl peroxide cleanser and we were paying a $20 copay, (not to mention what the insurance company was paying) this works just as well and I can get it as cheap as $4 a tube sometimes.

Getting a Dermatologist opinion would be the best bet. Most Derm Doc will let them know if they can buy something over the counter or if a Rx would work best. There are different reason for people getting acne and different kinds of acne. There are different kinds of meds too some that treat the bacteria some that dry up existing acne and some oral antibiotics that prevent future out breaks.
