I have to watch the rerun of Anderson Cooper's special of it.

Our neighbor was one of the first responders. To this day he doesnt talk about it much. It really got to him.

The one command center was set up right by dh retired boss house.

Our local news accidently showed a live feed right after it happened.

We did see some of the wreckage being hauled away but it was under tarps.

I wonder about it. I know my neighbor would have the best info about it.

My heart goes out to all those who lost family members. So sad.

It was horrendous and traumatic I was an EMT and a Police Dispatcher there at the time Then and 9/11 Rarely talk about anything to do with either except
with others with same experiences

Native long islander here...was working as a cameraman for local news when it happened. I Don't buy the official story for a second. I believe it was shot down. By who? No idea.

Nightfall was an excellent book. I read it several years ago.
Just have to say that this proves not all conspiracy theorists are cuckoo. This is the kind of thing along with the JFK assassination, et al. which makes people believe we are not told the whole story.

I completely agree, there are very few conspiracy theories I buy into, but in this case of this, JFK's assassination, and Flight 93(whether you, general you, like the thought or not, I definitely believe that the government would have stepped in knowing that the plane was most likely headed for the White House) I think we have not been told the whole stories and unfortunately I doubt we ever will.

The ending was jaw dropping for me. I didn't see it coming. I audibly gasped. Report back when you finish it.

Finished the book yesterday and was really surprised at the ending!!! I totally did not see that coming (but looking back he did give hints). I just did not keep track of the timeline.

Really enjoyed that book and about to start Mayday. I knew I liked this author and have read things by him in the past but never heard of Nightfall before.
