TV show musts

I noticed that almost everyone hates the current Disney channel shows and misses the old ones. So, I'm curious, what qualities and characteristics make a good show versus a bad one. I can't judge, never watch Disney channel, except on rare occasion. Just want to know what you guys think make a good or bad show.

Good storyline, good acting, and good characters!

And then bad...just the opposite of what I listed above!

I never really watch Disney Channel anymore either, but I personally think what makes a good show is a storyline that always keeps you guessing, something you could not get bored of. That's why I have recently discovered I liked Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family, because that show always keeps you guessing, never truly predictable as time goes on. I mean all shows have some predictablilty as time goes on, but what makes a good show a good show is how good the story can get as it progresses.

*Impressive Storyline

Good things:

-For animated shows, I like good quality animation.
-Good storyline and plot
-Creative characters

Bad things are pretty much the opposite of what I listed above. I find very fews shows now with those good qualities.

*Interesting plot that doesn't either repeat in every single episode (cough Ant Farm) or have an unrealistic story
