DH and I are in our 40s and do have a tv in our bedroom. My parents are in their 70s and have a tv in their bedroom - and always did when I was growing up as well.

Nope, and never have. Neither did/do my parents.

We have one in each bedroom. Keeps me company when my fibro and arthritis acts up and I can't sleep anyway. DDs are adults now but as children they did not have tv in thrie rooms

We do, but I made the mistake of letting Dbf pick the new TV. Now we have a massive 50'' TV at the foot of the bed.

We have been married for almost 21 years and the first TV appeared in our room about a year or so ago. We rarely watch it together, usually I am reading and DH is watching something or he and the kids are watching a ball game in the main room and I go to catch up on some of the things I record during the week.

My favorite feature is that it has headphones!

There are study results that those with a TV in the bedroom have less "fun" in that room.

Yes.

I love watching movies in my jammies on the weekends without having to get out of bed.

I also have it on in the AM to news stations while I get ready for work, for weather reports and to see if anything interesting is going in our world. I like GMA so that's fun too.

We have a tv in our bedroom. We put on in DD's bedroom too, but it has no cable, no antenna, and only is attached to a VCR (and we only own Disney movies on VHS.) We have it so we can move the Wii to it when she has friends over and can't use the living room.

We do... I love being able to have the TV on while lounging in bed. I only fall asleep to it when my DH is gone. Oddly enough that is the only way I can fall asleep while he is gone. Though when he is at home, I can't fall asleep when it is on :rotfl:

No tv in our bedroom. I don't have a strong feeling about it, but we usually read before going to sleep, so a tv just isn't necessary.:)

No tv in our bedroom. I can't stand a tv in the bedroom.

My 75 yo mother has one and so does my 17 yo dd.

We do, but the kids don't. We have the gamecube set up in there, so my 3yo can play that while I'm cleaning my room or on the computer. I also like to watch tv while playing sudoku before bed.

We have a TV in our bedroom and prefer to have our "fun" in other rooms of the house, anyway! :lmao:

Everyone in my extended family has a TV in the bedroom...including my 75-year-old grandmother.

We don't have one in our room, but I would like to get one in the next year or so.

I don't think DS will be allowed to have one in his room.

I live at uni, so i have a computer in my room, which i use to watch DVD's or downloaded TV programmes (got to love BBCi player and 4OD!)

I got a TV at home in my room when i turned 12, me and my sister got them at the same time. Before that we used tapes to go to sleep. Our parents were worried that we would spend all our time i our room. You know how they countered that? Digital TV, only downstairs. So i have a choice of staying upstairs and watching a 5 channels which are ok, or going downstairs and watching sky + (like cable and TiVo mixed together) with hundreds of channels and a chance to watch 2 hours of Scrubs a day??

No brainer!
