Can you hook up extras like a dvd player or video game system to your tvs in the Disney resorts? Some hotels wont allow this so i'de love to know so we dont lug them down there for nothing

It's been awhile since I stayed at one of the resorts, but the last time I did, we hooked up a DVD player to the TV via jacks on the front of the set. It wasn't a problem.

at Yacht club now: front of set has standard analog red/white/yellow plugs. The TV has an "S-video" input when you change channels etc...however, I have yet to find the actual s-video input! So if you have an analog out (red/white/yellow) on your DVD player (or a cable that has a single plug into your player with the red/white/yellow on the other end), you should be fine.

We always bring our portable DVD player, cable stations at Disneyworld are terrible. As soon as I unpack, store groceries, I hook up the DVD player, never any problems, I carry an extension cord, Power outlet can be quite far from the TV, and cables for any kind of TV hook up. We bring 10-12 movies and watch late night with a mug of food court hot chocolate. We've stayed WL, Poly and Pop and hook ups are right in front. Easy as pie. We leave the unit hooked up through the whole trip too.

When we stayed at Pop last May, we took our Playstation2 to play games and use as a DVD player and had no problem hooking it up to the front A/V jacks.
