I went with three of my children and we had a wonderful experience.
We had good food, but the service and hospitality were outstanding.
Our waiter was Pasquale. And he was a doll.
My 20-month son was acting up a bit, weary of eating in restaurants for a week. He wanted to sit under the highchair or stand in it.
Pasquale and the other waiters--I think most of the servers were men and the hostesses were all women--stopped to play with him or put him in the highchair or tell him to sit down. In fact, they were so sweet Zachary continued to misbehave to get their attention. He enjoyed it and watched for them to walk by him.
The fried cheese on the kids' menu looked great. I didn't get much of a taste, because my 7 and 9-year-old daughters refused to share. It was four decent-sized hunks. But older daughter has food touching issues and hates red sauce, so she was upset when it was plated on a little bit marinara. After she soaked her napkin wiping it off--I didn't see her at first--they happily brought her a sauce-free appy. (She had already ordered her entree with no sauce and meatball on the side--it was no problem.)
I had ravioli on Pasquale's recommendation. It was good. Better than Olive Garden...but no cute Italian waiters there!!!
I had originally booked a meal the previous Saturday night, but my cousins' plane was delayed and rerouted to a different airport that night so I had to cancel to pick them up. When I cancelled, at the podium earlier that day, they easily rescheduled me for the 26th at the same time, 7:45 p.m. It was full, but both times I was there they were accepting walk-ups.
We would not hesitate to return. But it was crazy expensive. Better be on the
DDP.
