HI! DH and I are considering eating here for our Feb 2009 trip. Can anyone tell me their experiences? I searched for reviews but I don't think I'm a good searcher!:rolleyes1

We have recently been to LeCellier and Chefs de France. DH doesn't care for seafood, Mexican or Morrocan.........we both enjoy Italian, just interested in reviews.

TIA!!!!!!

There are definitely a lot of reviews on the board and they are all positive from what I can tell. If you go to the dining review board you'll find dining review reports that even include pictures. If I didn't already have all my ADRs made for my December trip, I would definitely want to eat at Tutto. Based on the pictures I've seen, the food looks fab.

Since I just said I don't like it in another thread, I guess I'll back it up with a paragraph. Here's a mini-review.

Tutto Italia (Table Service) ☺☺☺
Quite a bit better than the canned Italian food you get at Tony’s or Mama Melrose’s, Tutto brings a more authentic board of fare. The menu is quite a bit more varied than the usual Italian eatery so even the pickiest diner can find something. The servers are dressed all up in starched white shirts and black ties which is a little over the top for a place in a theme park but that may just be me. All the ingredients are fresh and the wine list is above average. The problem seems to be execution. There are three things that make a restaurant excel or fail, consistency, consistency, consistency. Tutto Italia isn’t maintaining consistent food quality. People shouldn’t leave a $100 dinner saying “pretty good”. People should leave with their schedules in their hand trying to figure out when they can fit in another visit.

I'm going to agree w/castle ball hat tree

I will preface saying we are at WDW during 'low' periods & eat at off times.
We also are 2 or 3 adults, all with experience working in restaurants. We tend to be laid back about things, too. We also originally come from Rhode Island where Italian restaurants, of all regions, are plentiful, generally good to excellent & priced reasonably
This past May, we found the waitstaff at Tutto's very attentive & efficient. We couldn't have felt more special.
The menu variety decent, the food quality hit or miss.
The Antipasto Misto was excellent & while it is supposed to serve 2, we found it served 3 adults generously.
DH, will eat just about anything, ordered the Bucatini Gratinati and it was watery and flavorless. It also came to the table looking pretty sloppy.
I enjoyed the Lasagna al Forno. So did DH, who needed a little something ;)
At this last outing we were a deuce & were seated cheek by jowl next to other deuces against the far wall. I mean CLOSE. As in we all began chatting. Yep, all 5 tables. Not that it wasn't fun to chitchat, but we really hadn't any choice
Also, for those sitting on the outside, with their backs facing the dining room, as the waiters tried to serve the next door tables, the servers' bums were in your face! Okay, if it were 20 years ago I would've appreciated that more, but not really when I'm eating, thank you very much! :teeth:
Avoid the rear wall.

We will go back, just not in a hurry. Isn't Tutto's due for refurb sometime next year?

We ate here back in April and my parents ate here the other day and we love it. Good food & good service :thumbsup2

It's one of my favorites!!!!!!!! I love Tutto!!! Food was very good. service was very good too!

Personally, I enjoyed the meal we had @ Tutto but would only go if I was using a DDP credit -- I wouldn't pay OOP as I feel the prices are way too extravagant for what the entrees actually consist of.

It is amazing! We went in April (different menu than what they have now) and we are going back next month...cannot wait!

DH and I dined here last October while on the DDP. It was out of our usual price range but I was really interested in trying out the $12 cannoli ;)

We LOVED it! I don't think we would have tried it without the DDP...but I'm so glad we did. Our waiter was awesome- very personable and explained how he came to work at Disney. We took our time eating for the first time while dining in WDW in all of our trips. the food was amazing.

fast forward to this past June. DH and I had DDE because of our APs and took DH's father and brother along to Tutto (they were on DDP). Service was still awesome. Food was pretty good. I loved my meal but I think DH didnt care for his (can't remember off the top of my head what we ordered). They accomodated DH's picky young brother with some plain pasta. For DH and I, the tab was over $100 WITH the DDE...now I wouldn't do this every trip at this cost, but for special occasions, yes.

We just ate there last week and at best I can say "eh" to it. The food was ok. I had the penne caprese and honestly, I can make it better. Theirs was pretty blah compared to the recipe I use that my cousin learned from her neighbor when she lived in Italy. Although the zabaglione was yummy.

The people were pleasant enough, but the service was so rushed. We had an early seating and people were waiting basically as long as it took for a hostess to return. Plenty of tables were still open when we left and only one family waiting (again, for a hostess to return) and yet we were SO rushed. Our neighbors at the next tables (so close we were all practically seated together and ended up chatting all through the meal) agreed. We were in and out in a half an hour. No exaggeration, in 30 minutes we had been seated, given bread, given entrees, given dessert and given the bill. The hostess accidentally gave us 2 wine lists and one menu. When the waitress brought out a 2nd menu, she immediately asked if we were ready to order. Didn't even give mom time to open the menu let alone look at what was on it!

I don't plan on returning anytime in the near future.
