I've seen very few reviews of Tutto Italia on here so I wanted to share my experience with it.

We visited Disney in 2005 and 2008 and Tutto was on our list as a must go to restaurant. I do believe it may have been a different Italian place in 2005. Anyway, we went in with high expectations. I must say we were extremely let down. I ordered the Lasagna, I considered it edible but not enjoyable. The noodles were mushy, the sauce bland. Hubby tasted it and declared it tasted like Chef Boyardee ravioli...... oh my gosh, he was right!! After his declaration I tasted nothing but canned ravioli.

Hubby, and my two girls got Speghetti and Meatballs. The portions were a good size but again, rather bland. Very little sauce. The meatballs were just ok. The Speghetti however was cooked perfectly. But overall not impressed with the Speghetti and Meatballs.

Tutto is now off of our must eat places.

That is disappointing to hear. We used to eat there every trip, then stopped for a while due to two bad meals in a row. I made ADR's for our next trip because I read some really positive reviews lately. There is no excuse for overcooked pasta, my 15 year old DS can cook pasta correctly-LOL!

Report back!! Trip Advisor had some recent good reviews. Maybe we just hit it up on a bad night. Hope you get a fabulous meal!

Canned ravioli :lmao: thats funny.

I ate at Tutto a couple years ago....I also had the lasagna and absolutely loved it!! It was one of the best lasagna's I ever had. :goodvibes But im not sure if things have changed since i've last been. My fave italian place is via napoli. Their pizza and pasta is outstanding. Every year we've always has consistently amazing meals.

We have reservations for this monday night. I'm hoping it's not a disappointment. We love Via Napoli and Trattoria al Forno. I will try to report back about our experience. We are on the dining plan this trip, which we don't normally get, so we thought Tutto Italia looked like the best use of a credit.

We had a lunch there during Thanksgiving Week and loved it!
I got the lasagna which was really good and the other 2 in my party with food allergies got pasta and sauce which they enjoyed.

We ate there a couple years ago. May just be a hit or miss place, as it was for us. Two of us had some type of alfredo with prosciutto. We found it very bland, and were disappointed. The other three had spaghetti and meatballs, and it was delicious. We were impressed with the taste of the red sauce. We've made a reservation for next month, hoping we'll all enjoy it this time.

thanks for your review..I moved your post to the review board so more people would see this one

That is a shame about your meal. I have always found their lasagna to be a top quality dish. Maybe the chef has changed. I have a friend that swear the lasagna at Trattoria al Forno is some of the best she has ever had.

Why not order an entree' that is more unique than Lasagna, you can get that at any Italian Restaurant? Spaghetti and meat balls, boring!! Be more adventurous and you probably will get better tasting food.

Regardless of what I order it should be good. "Mediocre" food shouldn't be put on a menu if they don't know how to prepare it to taste good. But thanks for your 2 cents.

I guess ordering spaghetti and meat balls or lasagna in an Italian Restaurant like Tutto Italia would be like ordering a filet mignon or NY strip steak at a steakhouse like Yachtsman Steakhouse or Shula's. I don't blame the op in the least bit.

To the OP; sorry your experience was not a pleasant one. When we ate there a couple of years ago I thought the lasagna was excellent.

My husband loved the lasagna too many years ago! One of the reasons I tried it. Along with others posting that it was good. No biggie maybe we were just there on a bad night.
