Tutto Italia Question...

At this point, has this restaurant become the 'permanent Italian place' in Epcot? It seems like its been 'temporary' for years now...

As far as I know yes. In all the years they have only switched hands 1 x.
Tutto is very good.

Back in Oct I asked the manager if they were going to close for renovations and he said there are no plans to close Tutto or do any renovations..he said that was the original plan but the feedback is great so they decided not to change a thing.

We have had dinner there twice and lunch there this month and all three meals were wonderful

Tutto Italia is a place we are considering for our July 2010 trip, if we have a 3rd day at Epcot for just relaxing in the WS and such (staying at BWV so we are a walk away from the WS!). A friend of mine is actually going there this week! She is going to let me know how the food is...she knows my taste and how picky I am with Italian food (I rarely eat Italian on vacation). We live in NYC so I am used to very good Italian restaurants, and even here I am pretty picky.

So, how good is Tutto Italia? This is the only Italian place I would consider when on vacation, since the cast members in the WS are actually from the respective countries. Therefore, I would imagine it would be much more authentic and better tasting than Mama Melrose for example, which (no offense to anyone who loves it there) I wouldn't even dare attempt! We are not Olive Garden people, so if Tutto is comparable to Olive Garden, we would surely skip it. That's probably the best example I can give of our taste...NOT Olive Garden, but the "Mom & Pop" restaurants here in NY! So how does it compare?
