Tutto Closing???

I read in a different thread that Tutto is closing, is this ture? If so when? I was looking forward to trying it out on our December trip.

They are closing this Spring - haven't seen a specific date - and are supposed to reopen in the Fall uder a new name.

I remember a thread coming up about this a month or so ago. No one seemed to have a reliable answer about Tutto closing. They are still allowing reservations to be made through July. Of course we all know that at Disney, the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing. So, I am going to make an alternate ADR for that night, just in case. I'll cancel whichever one needs to be dropped.

I'm calling Saturday (9/8) for my ADRs for September. I'm planning to eat there so hopefully I will be able to get a booking.

I have an ADR there for lunch on 8/29. I figure if they end up closing it, we will just snack around the World that day. Hopefully they are postponing the rehab. I am really looking forward to trying it!

It was my understanding that Tutto Italia was never meant to be a permanent fixture in the Italian pavilion. It was basically just designed to be a filler restaurant to bridge the gap of time between the closure of Alfredo's and the opening of a new permanent table service in that space, and thus would only be open for 7-10 months. I'm guessing Tutto Italia will probably have to be closed at least a couple of months before the new place is set to open so it can be updated for the new restaurant. Supposedly the new restaurant will be run by the Patina group.

This was one of the few reservations I planned on making. The menu looks so good. I certainly hope they are going to be open when we go.

I keep putting off the call the Disney dining because I don't want to change my mind and have to call back and change it.

What a shame - we ate there in December, and although a little pricey, the food was great!

I called disney and asked if they were closing Tutto, and go an EMPHATIC NO! That it is not closing. I then asked if they did close it what happens to all the people who made reservations - do they get them in some where else or will we be out of luck for a sit down dinner and was told AGAIN that the restaurant is not closing. I tried to make a second ADR for another restaurant and they wouldn't let me. May try calling again and not mention Tutto and see if I can get in somewhere else for 15 minutes earlier . But that was the official (after being on hold for 10 minutes while she checked) word!

I dined there for the first time this past December. It was my best meal of the trip (including the meal at Le Cellier I had a few nights later). I have another ADR for my May trip and plan on getting another ADR there for our Sept trip. I sure hope they're not closing. I never liked Alfredos, but love this place. The lemon salmon appetizer and the fish with clams entree is sooooo good .

I was able to make adrs for there for early september yesterday. I have taken the precaution and booked another restaurant as a fallback in case it does get closed, but at the moment it is status quo.
