Has anyone been to both Tusker house and Boma for breakfast. what did you think about each?? Are they very similar??? What differences do you remember and which did you prefer???? Thanks!

I ate at both last week and would have to say I preferred Boma. There was a little more variety and also the atmosphere was a lot better. Tusker House was very LOUD and there was an extremely loud server that I'm sure was trying to be funny, but he actually gave me a headache! Food was similar, but again, Boma was just a bit better.

I've eaten at both. I would say it depends on whether you want to see the characters. If you are going just for the food, then Boma. The food at Tusker house is good, but I agree that Boma has more variety and is not nearly as loud. We were at Tusker House last week. It was the loudest place we ate all week. We went to 3 character meals and that was the one with the worst interaction, but I think that was mostly because of where our table was situated. We were in a very crowded area against the half wall near the restrooms and there just really wasn't any room for us to situate ourselves to get good pictures with the characters or for them to play with my DD who is not quite 3. I know lots of people have had great experiences with the characters there, so we would definitely try it again.

We ate at both in June and hands down, we would chose Boma again. Tusker House was very crowded. We were basically sitting on top of strangers and all of these strangers were in our children's photos. You can see these same characters in the parks. Now Bomas for breakfast was awesome. The food was super -- tons of homemade goodies, fresh fruit, pancakes, french toast, waffles. It was delicious. The meat at the carving station was so good also. Definitely go for Bomas!

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I'll move our Boma ressie earlier in the week and plan on Tusker House for our last day. We could always skip it if we've had our fill of characters.
