Tusker House or Wolfgang Express

We can't decide if we should do an early dinner at AK or head to DTD for dinner. If you had to pick between the two which would you pick?
We'd probably get the 1/2 roasted chicken at both places, but from what I'm gathering the chicken at Wolfgangs doesn't come with sides they are extra...so it may cost us a little more...but if it's better..it may be worth it.
Any thoughts?

they may have changed but ( i thought )both used to have mashed potato and maybe aveggie with the chicken. we only go pizza at wgp so can't compare but i think both places are good.

This was a few years ago and I hope I don't offend anyone, but one of the worst meals my family and I ever had at WDW was at Wolfgang Puck's in DTD. Food was lousy and the service was even worse. Two adults and two teenagers at the time and no one liked it.

I've never been to Tusker House so can't comment on that one.

I vote for Tusker House. I haven't been to Wolfgang Pucks but those beans at Tusker House are to die for.

I can't wait to get back and have them again.

I'm not sure about Tusker house but I did ate at Wolfangs Puck Express last weekend and the 1/2 Rotisserie chicken included the mashed potatoes (under the specials), but if you get one of the pizzas then those ones don't have any side dishes, but they said that we could exchange the dessert for a side dish under the dining plan!! Food was excellent and the servings where huge.

I ate at Wolfgang Puck's at DTD a few weeks ago and had the chicken with 2 sides. I thought it was very good! My chicken was moist and tender.

The only meal I've eaten at Tusker house was the breakfast. It was very good too!

The chicken at Tusker House is a favorite meal of ours. One thing you may want to consider is that TH has always closed in the early afternoon (3:00?) when we've been there.

Bummer. We may just have to grab a snack and head to DTD. We have an ADR for breakfast at AK Rainforest so we probably won't be hungry till later. I guess I may just have to play it by ear.
