Our touring plans changed for our upcoming trip, and we're trying to get a reservation at Tusker House for breakfast on October 16. However, the online reservations system says there is no availability on that day from 5:30-9:30 AM. I tried parties of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Would it really be booked solid this day, or does anyone know if it's closed? Also, if anyone is looking to unload an ADR, please let me know!

Tusker House character breakfast is very popular, and it's less than 6 weeks til your visit. It's not surprising that it has no availability. Just be patient and keep trying. People cancel ADRs all the time and if you're lucky you'll find a spot. Just click on "breakfast" instead of trying for a specific time. You might want to make an alternate ADR in the meantime, just to be on the safe side, if a TS breakfast is important for your group.

Tusker House breakfast has become one of the most difficult reservations to get in WDW, right up there with Le Cellier and Ohana. Free dining doesn't help availability either. Keep trying, I was able to get one a few weeks out, but they are scarce.

We have a reservation for 9:05 that day.(booked in April) It makes me feel good to read how popular this is. We have never been to a character meal or sit down meal of any kind at Disney world so we are very excited to be getting to enjoy all of this.

I hope you get your reservation you want.

We also have a reservation for that morning. It's a popular breakfast so I would imagine it's just booked at this point. I would keep trying because people cancel things pretty often.

I don't know if this will help you but I have a reservation for 2 at 8:30 that I'll be cancelling.

That would be awesome!!! Do you know how we can go about transferring that to my name? You can PM me if you're interested.

I don't believe transferring reservations like that is possible.
You could co ordinate the cancellation with you being on line trying to grab it, but I think that is all you can do.
Good Luck
