We are going to disney in Aug for the first time, two boys ages 7 and 5, do I have too many character meals? We are doing LTT on our night of arrival, Chef Mickeys two days later, and Tusker house two days after that.........are they all worth it?

Definately not to much! Your kids will love it. We have not done LTT but have done tusker house and CMs and the kids really enjoyed them... the food and the characters.

I liked the Tusker house and Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Good way to see all the key fab 5 characters and get autographs. Tusker was fun and the kids get to participate in a mini restaurant parade...

IMO, character meals are fun, so there are never too many. We schedule many character meals on our trips. We really like LTT & CM - they are two of our favorites - I don't think your family will be disappointed.

Doesn't sound like too many to me! We LOVE character meals and will be doing one everyday when we go back. Chef Mickey's was soooo much fun, my girls still talk about how Pluto came to our table and waved his ears at them. He was pointing to the braids in their hair and then pointing to his ears, they roared with laughter! So fun! :goodvibes

I love scheduling character meals because I don't need to stand in character lines. Kills two birds with one stone for us.

Sounds good to me - we have 4 scheduled in 6 days. As far as I'm concerned, dining with young kids is always like a character meal, so it may as well be a real one!

We have:

1900 Park Fare dinner w/Cinderella, Prince & step-sisters
Tusker House breakfast w/Donald, Mickey, Minnie, & hopefully Daisy
Crystal Palace breakfast w/Pooh & friends
Akershus breakfast w/princesses
Chef Mickey's breakfast w/Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, & maybe 1 or 2 others

I tried to do a variety of characters.

We will also be going to see Chip 'n Dale at the campfire sing-a-long (it's free) at Ft. Wilderness. We love all the traditional Disney characters.

We are doing 3 in sept, breakfast at CM, lunch at CP, and dinner at LTT (not on the same day, of course :upsidedow ) and we don't even have kids :rolleyes1

I think you made great choices and didn't do too much!

We went over Christmas and did all 3 and all 3 were delish! We normally do 1 character meal a day.

Have a great trip!
