Tusker House Breakfast?

the breakfast there is really good. their juice is the best:worship: and yes of course they have the classic mickey waffle.:mickeyjum

It is a tie for our favorite with Crystal Palace.

We love the variety of the food. They have some of the standard fare like Mickey waffles and the like. And then they have traditional fare like mealy pap.

Good to hear as I just booked an ADR there for the first time in April :woohoo:

We have eaten there twice and love it. The juice they have is awesome! Make sure to include this place on your trip.

We ate there last Sept because we wanted character dining and it was all we could get. From the sound of the menu, the food wasn't wat we wanted and it seemed kind of... I don't know, just not our speed. But we went with an open mind and figured a "bad meal" from Disney is still better than nothing.

But we were so wrong. The food there was awesome. I loved it even more then Ohana. There was a wide variety of offerings, everything from cereal and fruit to eggs and ham and hash, some more regional offerings like sausage gravy and biscuits, grits, and oatmeal, and then some more Animal Kingdom-like, more exotic offerings. And yes, there are an abundance of Mickey waffles.

We also found the character interaction and face-time with each character to be really, really great. Each character spent about 3-5 minutes at our table, even though we had no kids with us.

It was an awesome experience, one I'd do again in a heartbeat. We still talk about how good the food was and how much fun it was.

And as was said earlier, the juice was awesome.

Oh I LOOOOOOVE Tusker House!!! :cloud9:  Their breakfast is one of the best ive tried so far. Such a massive variety of food, and great quality too. And yes, the juice is to die for. Cant wait to go back in August! Might try lunch this time thou. Just for kicks. :)

So i'm repeating most of the Previous Posts, but Tusker House was an excellent breakfast for us! The juice was amazing, and the food selection very plentiful. I enjoyed the few African-inspired dishes that they had, but appreciated the more plentiful and common American-inspired offerings in case I didn't like the more exotic foods. We are only repeating a select few restaurants on our next DW trip this fall in order to try new things; however, we are most definitely returning to Donald's Safari Breakfast! :thumbsup2

I must have been in a mood the day we went b/c out of our three character meals (this one, Crystal Palace breakfast and 1900 PF) it was the worst. The food was good enough but I thought CP's breakfast was better. Character interaction was just "eh" and it was SO loud there. I also felt really rushed. My experience does not seem to be the norm though so maybe I just had a bad day.

Also on that particular trip my son was a Tigger nut (and actually still sleeps with a stuffed Tigger at almost 8) and so maybe I'm colored by that character interaction which was amazing. *shrug*

This is one of the best character breakfasts. I love the characters in their safari attire. They have regular breakfast fare, but with a few African themed dishes. That said, the Krispy Kreme Donuts are what won my son over!
