How is tusker house for breakfast?? we will be going there for an 8:15 ressie.... is it usually crowded that early?? what characters are usually at this breakfast??? how is the food and variety of food??? any special dish that stands out?? Thanks for your answers!

We loved the TH bfast! It was very crowded for our 8:400am ADR, but they got us seated in abt 10 minutes. The characters for us in Feb were Mickey Donald, Daisy and Goofy all dressed in safari-wear. Character interaction is great! The kids can get up and play instruments with the characters as well as dance around in a conga circle. The food was very good. They had all of your regular bfast fare (pastry, waffles, bacon, eggs, etc) as well as quite a few African-inspired things. Have a great time!

We did a late breakfast there in mid march 2008 (10:30am). It was still busy but not packed. I would plan on it being busy at any time (then, if it isn't "instant party bonus"!) Character interaction was just ok for us.....Mickey flew right by.......had to basically trip his handler to get him back to our table (is that so wrong?) :lmao:

Does it pretty much have the same menu that Donald's Breakfastsauras had?

I would say there was a wider selection of food than Breakfast-saurous. Quality was slightly better too (not quite so McDonald's-like). I think this website has a list of the food offerings.

I'm hearing that it is very crowded and long lines at the buffets. Is this the case? I want to be in and out in 45-60 min. Is this unrealistic?

If it is crazy crowded and tough to get to the buffets, perhaps this isn't how I want to start my day. Hmmm.

We were there at 8:05 on 4/11. We were done by 8:50. The meal was great. The food is way better than the old Donald's Breakfastosaurus and more like what you get at Boma. The buffet lines were very short. My favorite dish was a coconut sweet potato casserole. It was so good and something I haven't seen at any other restaurant.

F1Julie.....
That is so good to hear!! We just booked it and I was not sure how we would like it. Thanks for the good comments..:goodvibes

We ate there during our Easter trip and really enjoyed it! We thought it was a lot better than the old Breakfastasarus! It was set up a lot better so that the lines at the buffet were not long and did not back up! Also they had some different choices other than the standard breakfast fare that were really good! Honestly, our favorite meals of this trip were between it and our lunch at Seaworld. We also made a ADR for our summer trip when we got home!:rotfl: Try it, I think you will enjoy it!

i can't wait to try this breakfast. I planned because my mom is dying to find Daisy...so it's a surprise that she'll be there!!!
