Tusker House breakfast or lunch?

We attended the Tusker Breakfast, and it was our favorite breakfast of the trip. We thought the food selection was great, and we liked being able to have a reservation before the park opened. (8:10am reservation and park opened at 9:00am) :thumbsup2

I agree with this completely. Breakfast is WONDERFUL. The best breakfast buffet i've tried so far. And yes, being able to be one of the first ones on the safari ride is a nice bonus. I love their breakfast!

Im doing Tusker again this august. But i wanna do something different so we're trying lunch. Hope its as good as breakfast! :goodvibes

Goofyintoronto and I are on the same page on this one! We are also doing the breakfast again this September. We are trying to do different restaurants this go around, just so that we can say we did new things at DW. However, Tusker breakfast and Via Napoli dinner are the two that we are repeating from last time.
Also, like Goofyintoronto, we like being right by the Safari. Last time, we were the first Safari car of the morning!! :cool1:

My family does not usually eat a bug breakfast, but we did Tusker House this past trip with an 8:00 reservation. I thought the food and characters were great, but what I loved the most was exiting to a rope just before KS at arounf 8:50. They dropped the rope a few minutes later and we were on the first ones through the Safari. This is not such a big deal if there is early morning hours that day.

We have also done Tusker for Lunch / Dinner, and if given a choice, I would have to pick Lunch. I prefer the food more and I think it is more bang for your buck.

Of course, you could always do it for a 8:00 breakfast and a 5:00 Dinner.

Funny, I personally didnt care for the rope drop at AK. I just kept thinking "oh dear god just let me thru!". Is it just me? LOL

Im so tempted to book breakfast at Tusker, its so good. But im sticking to my guns RE: lunch. I really wanna try something new. wish me luck! :goodvibes

I'd say breakfast definitely. It's actually one of the best character breakfasts, other than ohanas that we enjoy. Also like pp stated you are so close to safari. Once breakfast is completd i usually take the dreaded run with all tickets in hand to get fp's for yeti. Then run back n meet them on safari line. It works out nicely

I love the lunch at Tusker House. Never been to breakfast there, though. Sounds like you can't go wrong either way.

If you are taking kids, definitely breakfast! It reminds me of Chef Mickeys but the characters aren't so rushed - plus usually Daisy is there. :) The food is good too and a nice variety!
