Tusker House: Late Breakfast at risk of being rushed? Or Lunch with no characters?

  • Definitely do breakfast - you'll be fine with a late breakfast

I just can't decide!!! While at The World, we'll be doing Chef Mickey's (and Cape May on the day we leave). How "worth it" is it to do Tusker House with Donald, given that information?

DS missed seeing Daisy last time, and it's been a "big deal" to him since.

My options are:
(1) Do a late breakfast (like last seating at 10:30) at Tusker House so we can see the characters - which is my preference, except I hate the idea of them rushing us out.

(2) Do an early breakfast and then CS for lunch (which I don't really want to do...).

(3) Do an early lunch (11:30) at Tusker House with no characters.

That evening, we intend to do an early dinner (4 or 4:30) at Boma.

So what do you think? Late Breakfast with Donald and hope they don't rush us out before we're done eating? Or Lunch at Tusker House with no Donald?

We've had breakfast and lunch at TH and I think the breakfast buffet was better. Since you're having an early dinner, I'd do breakfast and a light lunch or snack (Yak and Yeti cs has some yummy egg rolls :thumbsup2) if you get hungry before dinner especially considering your DS wants to see Daisy.

Cape May and Tusker House both have better character interactions and food than Chef Mickey's btw

I voted for the breakfast, but we haven't had the lunch/dinner buffet yet. We ate there once before and really enjoyed ourselves, plus they didn't rush us out at all while we were eating. When we first started planning out our ADRs for our September trip we asked each of our girls what one character meal do each of them want to eat at and one DD wanted Donald's Breakfast Safari while the other one wanted Crystal Palace (a first for us for breakfast) so that is what we are doing plus for both ADRs I got 8am so we will be in the park before it opens :cool1: Also, if seeing Daisy is a first priority, then I would definitely go to the breakfast since that is the only character meal that has her. Have a great time.

Do the breakfast.

Also, they DON'T rush you out when the breakfast buffet ends.

Instead, you can stick around after the change over and help yourself to the lunch buffet. This way you get Daisy, the breakfast buffet (food is better than chef mickey's) and the lunch buffet options! popcorn::

We've only done breakfast there and it is very good.
We will be trying a dinner there this upcoming trip and looking forward to it.

If your schedule is an early dinner at Boma, I would choose the late breakfast.

princess, Are you saying that if you make a late reservation you get to eat off the lunch buffet too? Doesnt anyone say anything? So if i cant make up my mind to do breakfast or lunch i should just book a late breakfast? Is it like that in all the restaurants? Thanks
