Tusker House/5pm meal/Park closes at 5pm

I am putting together my schedule and will be on the dining plan. My trip is in late Sept.

Assuming the park closes at 5pm, when do they stop taking ADRs for Tusker House?

Will I be able to wrap up my evening with a 5pm ADR, enjoy my meal, and then leave the park to go back to my resort?

I will be using my car that day for transportation.

I can't say for sure, but my guess would be that the last ADR would be a few minutes before park closing. For my HS day, the park closes at 7:00, and the last ADR at '50s PT was for 6:50. I will be interesting to leave an almost empty park!

We were there last year in September. The park closed at 5:00 and I got a ADR at 5:00 for the Tusker House. I was very disappointed. Since it was closing time they didn't replace food once it was out, our selection of food was very low or not at all.

oh...............getting the dregs at 5pm is not the kind of free dining I expected. I think I'll try something different. Thanks for the heads up!
