Don't miss this one it is worth the wait. My friend told me she did not do this, I told her how much fun this was. So I wanted to share with everyone don't miss this attraction. Crush is great and we kept on asking how do they do that. Crush interacts with us, it is so cool. :cool1:

Thanks for the reminder, this is one that I really want to see! We are going to be a group of adults (DD's are 19 & 21), but we will be there just the same! :cool1:

I completely agree with you!!!

But... unfortunately Turtle Talk (and the rest of The Living Seas) is now closed for rehab until the end of November.

And I am totally bummed about the whole rehab thing. It's supposed to be during the celebration of the Happiest time. So why not do it afterwards?

Does anybody know the exact opening day? We are going in late november, so I am wondering if we will just miss it. My kids will be disappointed.

I'm the same Brina, will be there until 26 th november so hoping it may open a couple of days before so we can get it in

According to mouseplanet.com it is closed "through late November."

According to allearsnet.com: "Work is scheduled to be completed by late November."

So it looks like no definite date yet. Keep checking back, I'm sure they'll have a better idea in the next six or eight weeks.

We loved crush. He actually sang happy birthday to my DD in January. While we were waiting in line, a man standing with us noticed DD's birthday badge. He was talking with her about her birthday and how old she was. He knew her name from her guest of honor badge. So as we were walking in, he says maybe we can work a little birthday magic. Well, I taped it, not knowing what was going to happen, and at the end of the show, Crush mentions DD, and her birthday and sang to her. He sang to the tune of Happy Birthday, but the only words he said were DUDE... dude dude dude dude dude dude... lol.. it was awesome!!

Totally off the subject...

Where do you get the birthday badges? My dh turns 36 on our trip and I want to get him one and make him feel like a dork. :earboy2:

I believe they are doing it in preparation for Epcot's 25th. From what I've heard this is only the first rehab out of 2 for the Living Seas.

If any of you have plans to go to DL they now have Turtle Talk at DCA.

You get the birthday badges at one place in each park. Its at the Guest Relations. I know its in City Hall at the Magic Kingdom. You tell them its his birthday and you can even get a Birthday phone call from a character. In Epcot, guest relations is next to Spaceship Earth. Go to the left of Spaceship Earth. Its up that way. In MGM, Its right inside the park entrance, to the left. In AK, its to the left at the ticket gate.

Closed until November?! Looks like we just made it.

We were there from the 16th through the 24th. We happened to see Turtle Talk almost as an afterthought. We had time to kill before a dinner res. or a fast pass return time or another show (it's all a blur) and we happened to notice that a line was forming. We jumped in line and only then realized what it was for. I don't remember laughing so much during a show. It was great.

And we weren't the only ones walking out of there scratching our heads wondering how the heck they did that. Definitely catch it if you can.

I think I'm going to go watch Finding Nemo right now!

I loved this!
I took my 2 year old and 5 year old and the 2 year old kept giggling!
He also kept saying NNEEMMMO at the top of his lungs out of excitment.
My hubby kept asking, "but, how do they do that?" during the whole attraction!

I love Turtle Talk. It is one of my 3 favorite things at Epcot. Watching the children's reactions to it make me laugh hillariously. :rotfl:

I sure hope it's open by Dec 6! We go Nov 29 - Dec 7, and my kids really want to see Crush!

My kids loved it in August. We went twice. My son asked a question once. He asked Crush what his wife's name was. My daughter wanted to ask a question too, but didn't get called on. Maybe next time.
