I did a 10 day minivan rental in Turo last year over Labor Day weekend.
Picked up directly in closest MCO parking garage (to southwest terminal) using a lockbox attached to the car. Car was in great shape - owner sent me photos of the car, where it was parked, and instructions during our flight. It also had a toll tag that we used with no additional charges. Drop off was a bit more stressful only because the entire parking garage was full (people were illegally leaving cars in fire lanes -- it was insane), but I finally was able to stalk someone to their spot. Took photos of the car and uploaded to the app after parking.
Insurance is insane in the app, but I double checked with my local State Farm about private and person-to-person rentals and that was actually covered under my current insurance.
The biggest hesitancy I have in doing it again, is that Turo has added additional fees (airport/general/etc) that now seem to make even the lowest priced cars more expensive than renting from Dollar/Budget/etc. I'll use Turo if it is significantly cheaper, but for the same price I'm going to the rental counter every time.
